You’ll eventually find the musical treasure of the Church to praise in ways you’ve never imagined, that will add up to gospel music. Seek and be open to them! 🙏🏼

Great show. I loved the idea of church music by theologians and then musicians. Different paradigm to ponder. These guys are brilliant about music for worship rather than praise.! Wow. At 77, I never stop learning.
Great programme and insight from all. I guess you've inaugurated a new trend topic 'Apologetics for Christian Music, Praise and Worship'. Hope to see you back soon!
It’s so funny we have this Deacon here in the Dioses of Tucson, whose name is Nick De La Torre. For a second I thought it was him. Good show. May God alway keep and bless you all.
had to laugh when Nick mentioned the TLM. The first Latin Mass I attended had a very well known authority on Catholic sacred music, Paul Jernberg, leading the choir. The entire choir were college kids and the music was spectacular. Took me a while to warm up to the Latin Mass itself but the music, totally different. My Catholic-DNA kicked in and told me to get on your knees when the music started. I have been dedicated to the Latin Mass ever since. Great discussion gentlemen and thank you. God Bless!!!
I just met Paul Jernberg at a conference on beauty earlier this month! He’s composed some settings for the Liturgy of the Hours, and we got to participate in their debut. He’s also been on The Journey Home! -Matt
@@cominghomenetwork Wow I didn't know Paul was a convert. I am watching his episode on The Journey Home right now. I love conversion stories. It isn't pride that should be the determinant of return to the music ministry - it is need. "The need is great and the labourers are new" - if you have the ability, you should not deny the church the ten talents you've been given, even if you have to struggle with your own past a bit (all Catholic musicians deal with that.)
Too bad there are people on your website criticizing people for their choice of charismatic worship Matt, I would think that would NOT be welcoming to all the ex-Pentecostals out there...
