The Lateral distance from the centerline goes from right (min) to left (max). You don't have to rename any files to see where the problem is. Also, the convention is that the min and max panics always go between the left and right walls (but avoids going down pit road). So as long as you don't try to go through walls, it should be fine.
This is cool and all but is there some way to fix the AIs from bombing it into a corner and actually doing the track correctly? I had that happen on Daytona Road V8 and trying to find some way to fix it. Is there also some way to make the AIs pass each other on certain road courses? I also had an issue on a Sebring track for NR2003 where the AIs refused to pass.
Change the chassis type to 5 and change the temperature to -175. If the car is uncontrollable, increased the asphalt and concrete grip where you are able go over 200, this is for blowovers
That is not possible... Wall glue is coded into NR2003 and is not editable... Papyrus added it to stop cheating by people running the outside wall at full speed.

You should do the same for all tracks.
Do you know how to fix the problem on certain tracks where AI cars get stuck in their pitstalls?
What Nationwide mod/carset were you using in the beginning? I have been trying to find a 2010 NWS "cot" mod/carset for a while now to no avail
RIP nrtracks

How about a setting to lower the Wall Glue...
