You know it’s gonna blow up this year with the amount of pilots. I wish we could get together a person from Guinness to record a new world record for the most paramotor pilots up in the air at one time. Thanks David that is a good preview for the upcoming fly-in👍
Last year's bad apples was my first ever fly-in. Had a blast, be smart, fly smart and even new pilots will have a good time. Will definitely be there again this year.
I was there last year when Nick Lebeuf crashed into the ground. That wind was too strong; I was standing under the pavilion when he slammed into the ground. He had to be airlifted to a hospital. Then, I think it was Saturday night and I was talking with Eric Farewell and his dad at their campsite when, "KAPOW!" We looked out and there was someone that got clotheslined. I didn't know Eric could move that fast! They don't call him "Mom" for nothing. I think there is some kind of quarry that you aren't supposed to fly over, either. Supposedly we were distracting the employees. I went to the McDonalds in Americus; there were people there that noticed I had one of Tucker Gott's shirts on. They asked if I flew one of those "damn" things. I said yes. See you there!
If ALL pilots followed these ideals, it would be amazing. The one they seem to have trouble with is launch and leave the field. Last year too many would takeoff and then buzz the field, thereby clogging up the air for others coming in and taking off. But good points David.
Even though I don't fly a paramotor yet, I've got to get to one of these fly-ins pretty soon. I would have a great time just watching everyone launch and land. Meeting everyone would be awesome as well. I'm only about an hour away from the one down in southern Ohio. I may just have to go to that one.

Thanks buddy. I told Tim today that I am guessing in 2023 we will need to cap the number of pilots.
Hodges Field held that record for RC Airplanes
Nice Job David. Excellent production value.
Superb video David and what a great idea! This is something that should be done for all fly-ins IMHO.
Great heads up Tube on this event!
You are a credit to the sport brother! Great video. Thanks!
Well done. Great template for others.
Have a great time. Fun fun fun

Most of these tips need to be shown before all fly in's. Nice job.
After I saw all of the things that happened last year, I wanted to sell my paramotor. Thank goodness I didn't. Great video!
Classic Shawshank reference!
I hope to be there this year!
Look forward to meeting you
Awesome video, David! Thank you for the great info!
Thanks Sandor
Are you going to try to find some water to fly into at bad apples?
Not this time
Sure with I could find a way into this sport. Being retired and on a fixed income it seems far away.

Looking forward to the first time I can come.

Thanks
Excellent video! Thanks for putting this together, very helpful. Do we need to reserve a camping spot ahead of time if we don't need hookups?
Thank you and no you do not need to reserve a spot. Look forward to seeing you there.
Awesome video David. Rule #9. 🤣😂🤣
Thanks buddy

Would love to see you at Purdins
I would like to register as a good apple...
Hey Dave any idea if a company that does wing inspections will be there for us to hand deliver wings we need inspected?
I believe Elizabeth Dufour will be there and possibly Shannon Michaels. I think someone else but I forget who
@@David_Wolfe thanks!!!
That power line incident killed power to the whole event. I couldn't even drive back to my motel.
DBAD. That is Eric Farewell for don't be a (another word for Richard)
Are spectators allowed for just the day to "experience" or view the event?
Absolutely! No charge!
Surprised half the camping spots with water and electric are reserved for the bad apples, how many of y’all are there?
It’s for only a few BA’s working the flyin and For Vendors
I hate when people are bad apples. 👎
Is this a JOKE?
