I used to work in an Amazon warehouse, sorting through returns, and I can confirm that sometimes people send the strangest stuff back in the packaging of what they would have purchased. Some I remember are things like cat food, rocks, etc.
Does that mean you guys open all of the returns? Or what exactly happens when you get a return
@@carissagomez6165 Yepp we had to open all returns and take them all apart (I worked in the electronics department, so we had to check for faults and so on). Then each part, which has a sticker with a barcode on it gets scanned and logged into the system. I imagine it would be similar for clothes, just less steps. But 100% everything gets checked
I used to work at Home Depot and people would try that with in-person returns. But we had to open every return so they always got panicked when I whipped out the box cutter like "BUT THE STRAP IS ON IT IT'S CLOSED I DIDN'T OPEN IT I CAN'T BE RESPONSIBLE" ...mmmhmm. The most common one was they would put their old faucet in a new faucet box, but the one that stands out was someone who put bricks in a REFRIGERATOR box. He literally ran away as soon as I cut the straps he had slid back on it.

The “kid carrier” is actually a kitten carrier lol. I know this because I have that exact same one in a different color. When I found a stray, partially blind, malnourished 6 week old kitten at my dads shop I took him in and he needed 24/7 care. So I got that and carried him everywhere. He is now almost 1 and a big healthy boy 🥹🤍🤍

I work at an Amazon facility and spend 10 hours a day packing these giant "damaged/returned" items boxes! (Yes, we all laugh just as hard at the random items customers buy/return)

As someone that works in a store that sells couch covers, they are one of the most returned items. People are sooooooooooooo picky. It has to be the perfect shade of whatever color to match the walls, drapes, dog, plates, underwear etc. Or it'll be returned.

I just want mine to fit! And I'm horrible at measuring the couches. Most of the time I just end up getting the wrong style.
That isn’t why… it’s because a lot of couches are shaped a certain way & couch covers don’t fit some couches. I’ve purchased a few couch covers and they all didn’t fit. I can’t be bothered to make returns tho so I just gave it away
I bought the UGG robe in the outlet store on sale, and that is my favorite robe. It's so comfy and warm- good call on keeping it!

OK SO!!! I bought that coffee maker because it had such great reviews online. It was horrible! The water boiled super violently and out the back of it, so I left one of the only bad reviews under the listing. THEN, a few days later, I got an email from the company offering me a $10 dollar Amazon gift card TO DELETE MY NEGATIVE REVIEW. That explains why there are so many returns!! (By the way, I did not delete my review)

I used to work at the American Eagle Outfitters warehouse in Ottawa KS and they actually do stick most returns back into circulation. Most things that wouldn't get put back were things like panties/boxers, bras, socks, etc.
I impulsively was like “wait do I need a returns box/pallet???” And then you got into how much it cost with shipping and was like no... no I probably don’t 😅
We ALMOST live close enough to Vegas we could pick it up and save the $350! That would make it worth it for sure if there's a location near you!! you also would need a pretty big truck though

The white/black “workout machine” functions like an arm bicycle! I used those in PT for my neck and back issues! It just helps with warming up the muscles in your arms/neck/shoulders!!
Those black handlebar looking things attach at the end of the metal, and then you put your hands on both handles and pedal it like your legs do with a bike!
Yes!! And you can also put it under your desk to cycle :) I have a desk job and use mine all the time while I work!

I lived on Vegas and I stocked my Thrift Shoppe with these auctions. Was pretty fun. Lots of work to sort through and yes! Wear gloves!!
When you said, "Foot spa," I immidietly thought of those weird Tiktoks of packages being delivered and unboxed. It's always so cool, it's like cleaning, cooking, and all that types of stuff being unboxed.
It is a pawwasher that have kept for it Leo. And those are great! The long cylindrical vessel with a blue rim and the blue spiney projections. They work great and really do clean your dogs paws when they’re full of mud. I have one for my dog and she doesn’t mind it at all.

I used to work at a JCPenney catalog center back in the 80s/90s. You wouldn't believe the stuff they took back. Some customers did switch out other stores (or their own) clothes and kept the JCP item.

For anyone who was interested most of the items that get sent to liquidations are just items that didn't pass the quality inspection by amazon associates (why it's in bags) sometimes it's for small reasons and sometimes it's cause it's used like some of the items she got. Most items do get put back into inventory and while amazon does get scammed a lot by people returning their old clothes in place of new clothes, the true scam I think is not being able to truly damage something out cause things can get way more disgusting than some of the things seen here so its a wild if it actually gets sent out to people who buy the palettes. But maybe the risk of some cool stuff is worth the potential for overly used/unclean things. I love watching these types of videos lol the most random assortments. Good on you for donating and helping your local community with things that could have been trash :)

So I work at amazon and depending on the returned items they come to a facility and get graded there more than 80%of the items are fairly good 😂 love your videos I watch them on break. I'm normally processing customer returns sometimes.

The earliest days are generally the hardest as they're busily trying to figure out the best treatment options. And once they do, you will hopefully spend less days feeling like a lab rat or guinea pig, and more days getting back your life. But please remember to be gracious to yourself during this time. It is okay to grieve about the situation. It's okay to cuss and scream and declare that this isn't fair. But understand that your body doesn't hate you. You are not "less than" because of this diagnosis. Your illness does not define you. You're not ruining your family. If you need to order takeout and stay on the couch, do it and don't feel guilty about it. You're doing the best you can and You Are Enough. Hang in there. 💛😘

the workout machine at 8:40 is a desk exercycle for people working in an office to get some exercise while at their desk. also useful for getting some exercise while sitting and watching TV, etc.
I love how hope gives back to her subscribers. I don’t know another TH-camr that gives back to their Subs as much as her.
This is SO interesting to me, bc I work at a UPS Store and I’m the one who is the middle man between customers and Amazon- they take all of their returns to directly to us and then it gets sent to the liquidation facilities in Las Vegas. One thing that I have realized is that most things that are returned, at least to me, are heavily used- returned destroyed, or just like cheap ass items that nobody wants 😂
