Great review, I just have a couple of points. The Atlantis line was released in 1985, the blue and green versions re-released recently are based on 90's versions, but the model is older than the "iconic" F-91W. For use, I agree that for most people it's more than enough. Realistically, most people who "need" a G-Shocks don't actually need one. They buy them because they look cool. I wore an Atlantis/Explorer on almost every one of my deployments with the military, as I found G-Shocks too bulky and annoying.
Thanks for the comment :) That's exactly my point: most people don't need them and having something that light and thin just makes you want to wear it (even for a skinny guy like me). As for the F-91W. Timex missed out by cancelling it, but reissue was a great decission. What I meant was it did not get as big of a name for itself as the Casio. Have a great day :)
I would never! I had that watch for a month and I really miss it from time to time despite having ...teen watches. It's a great watch that goes under the radar for watch enthusiast
