Rode an R1200GS and R1200GSA back-to-back… Absolutely shocking how much better the Adventure handles over the standard GS!! Like two completely different genres of motorcycles… Not that the GS is bad in any way, just that the GSA is so much better..!
That crazy little woman got tired of me taking too long to bring a Polaris Slingshot home for a weekend and set it up all on her own. She let me know about it on Thursday while we were riding home on the BMW R1200GSA… This Slingshot is way cooler than I ever thought!! You need to take one of these for a spin, they’re fantastic!

a heated argument in the region where I live ... took awhile for one state too let the slingshot in , calling it a cycle , when it is just short of being automobile { not my cup of tea } I am happy with the spyder that shawn and Kelly let us ride along with !!

I would have walked out of the dealership up here in Vancouver BC with one of those 250 Rally's if it had ABS. For some reason we dont get it here in Canada??? Awesome bike though, it fit me like a glove.

Damn. From what I've heard the Slingshot is NOT coming to Australia. Apparently it boils down to the Australian safety regulations which is stupid because we have some of the best all-round sunny conditions for this kind of vehicle...

Does the Slingshot come with an automatic or ducal clutch transmission? I read that the Can-Am Spyder does (a dual clutch transmission similar to the one used in the Smart Fortwo).
+Thomas Lee Mullins - The Slingshot has a 5-Speed manual transmission only at this time. The older v-twin Spyder’s had dual clutches in the semi-auto (SE5) models, but nothing like a DTC system. They had a standard clutch with a hydraulically controlled slave cylinder used for shifting only. The second clutch was a simple centrifugal clutch for idling and take-off. The current 1330 ACE Triple Spyder’s with semi-auto transmissions (SE6) have a single standard clutch only that’s computer controlled. All clutching is seamlessly performed by the transmission computer and Hydraulic Control Module (HCM). The HCM a heart sized unit mounted within the clutch cover. It works so well, and so bulletproof, very few people choose the 6-speed manual variant that’s available on select models...

Oddly, that's about average for a good quality helmet nowadays... We have some that sell for $2,500!! Crazy, right?
