I guess serato studio is good to get a grip on the basics, then going to some other daw would be better since you have more freedom when you arrange a track or remix. Also in serato studio one thing I don't think it has is automation, even if it does ones from ableton or fl studio would be better as they would have more complexity.
@@locbac Yeah, Serato studio is great for basic introduction to music production but FL studio has so much more capability. If you can afford producer edition def get it over this.

Hi I am planning to buy first dj controller and I am really confused between the ddj 400 and inpulse 500... Now I know that ddj is better if I want to take DJing Seriously and make a career in it but I'm just a bedroom dj who loves to dj just for entertainment and to persue a hobby. And I need a controller which is kind of big in size and looks cool. So is it fine to go with the inpulse 500 or shall I go with ddj 400? I mean is there significant difference between them except for the fact of their softwares?

I still think your edit lacks bass & kicks. Now it's a good edit, but you could make a banger out of it! There's more in this edit than you pulled out of it. I'd suggest you use FL studio (it's great producing/remixing software) and download some kshmr sample packs (they'rs free, huge and contain every kind of sample you'll ever need). You can be way more creative and make really cool mashups and remixes this way (for example: i recently remixed 'am I wrong' by Niko & Vinz and even my friends who are not into EDM liked it!).

I think I would go for DDJ 400 but I have no ideas what speakers to go for. I'm just looking at performing at house parties as I'm only 16. Maybe soon I might DJ at clubs during weekends as a side job but rn I wanna impress my friends lol

i usually recommend the ddj 400 for beginners but go for what you think works for you!
