I discovered Hamilton during pandemic and though I am late that musical is one of the things that help me cope up during troubled times. He is a great actor and singer-songwriter.

Lin is literally the best. Everything he does turns to gold. As a girl who loves musical theatre so much, I have always wanted to meet him because I feel like we have a lot of things in common (except I am not a composer but I am a writer, lyricist, and performer). I'm also trying to turn Lin's movie, "Vivo" into a Broadway musical because that film deserves better, I love it so much, and it's mostly because I want to thank Lin for bringing it to life with his passion. I'm doing this for him. It would be a dream come true if he knew about my future musical based on his own movie. (I wrote the full script and the lyrics to 17 original songs at age 14 and I'm turning 15 in one month!) So yes, I have my confidence.
Thank you, Lin Manuel Miranda for everything. Your music brought my sister and me together, and your kindness makes me want to meet you more. And I'm trying to make "Vivo" into a Broadway musical because of you.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is trully a treasure trove of talent, kindness, and inspiration for us all to look up to. Through his advocacy and self-less lyrics we can learn and grow as human-beings. I just find him to be very much an inspiration for me throughout my whole life and see what happens in the future is bright for him no matter what

To see him leading the chorus of Broadway stars singing their tribute to the late Stephen Sondheim in Times Square, was the perfect reflection of his capability and accomplishments, and his humility. He’s one of the greats.

as of 2022 Lin holds the record for Youngest Composer to win the Tony Award for Best Score, he was 28 when In The Heights won for Best Score (Lin would outdo himself 8 years later in 2016 at the 70th annual Tony Awards when Hamilton was nominated for 16 Tonys and it cleaned house winning 11 including Best Musical)

Aside from being addictive, his music can be cathartic too. I went through the obsession after the soundtrack release, but actually seeing it on Disneyplus renewed my overall ten fold.
It became kind of my blanket after losing my Grandmother, who raised me, to Covid on Mother's Day 2020.

Despite only seeing him as an actor in His Dark Materials and Mary Poppins Returns, his role as Lee Scoresby will ALWAYS be my top favorite. He brought incredible life and talent to the character that I fell in love with him the very instant I saw him on the screen when I saw his debut air live.

This was great and really helpful. I came across Lin for the first time watching "Mary Poppins Returns," enchanting, which I re-watched this afternoon and immediately fell in love with him allover again.
Then I saw him in "His Dark Materials" and then found out that he'd directed "tick tick BOOM!" which is my favourite musical in ages and then that he wrote "Hamilton."
And then, there's all these other things to check out.
What a guy and what a talent and, on a totally shallow level, I prefer him with really short hair, but then, that's the case with guys in general.
Can't wait to dive into some of these other options and find out more!

The first time I remember seeing him was on Sesame Street singing and rapping about habitats!
There's a video of a Hamilton song that wasn't used. "Cheering For Me Now." Actually there are two. One's done in full Alexander Hamilton costume. The other, he's dressed as a crooner from the 40's, complete with a full orchestra.
OMG I LOVE THAT SONG SO MUCH! I sing it all the time, and it's all fun and games until I have to hold the last notes at the end of the song and I run out of breath. Lin truly shines in that song, and sometimes I want to perform it so badly even though I'm literally a girl, because the song is so underrated and it needs more love. Whenever I sing that song, I feel like I'm showing my true emotions, I almost start crying, I have fun, and it feels like I'm embracing myself. That was what made my singing voice stronger.
