Well that worked out very well. It gives me an idea how I can attach my fishing rods to my Malone kayak trailer. Thanks for posting this great video.....Take care, Bluefin.

Very nice build! I love all of the little tricks, like pulling the doubled shock cord through with a piece of string! Nice job👍

Very cool. Other fishermen should appreciate this if their dealing with the same dilemma. Good going man. After all, nobody likes a bent pole. 😂🤣

LOVE IT!!!! One question though... why did you decide to put the “reel” end towards the back of the truck? Just curious... my first thought would’ve been the opposite and since I know you’re a pretty smart fella, I had to ask. 😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I probably will turn them around on long trips but this way the tips aren't in harms way of topper Hatch opening. Trial and error 🤷‍♂️

I wonder if maybe longer rivets are in order, seems like its barely grabbing. Other than that, pretty awesome! And of course, its probably better to do the rivets before the velcro, but you didn't know that ahead of time.

Yah, I might drill those out and put some 3/4" in just to be safe.
      Thanks Nick

How did they hold up? Ever lose a rode? Have you made any changes? Love the idea btw
