I once met a shoe designer in Prêt 😄 who said that on Mondays at the company she worked for there were no meetings, no emails, the day was just intended for finding inspiration. She mentioned going to the V&A, not to look at shoes but to look at tapestries, glass, jewelry etc and study them for designs, textures and colour combinations. Smart company.
Something as beautiful as this building would have a $100 entrance free in the US, let alone a museum inside. You are lucky to view history like that for free
Good afternoon from Canada, Mum will be 95 in June and doesn't, as she admits, remember a lot from her younger years but the camera display got her talking about all of her black and white photos from all over the UK, Eastern Canada and all the way across to the Rocky Mountains that she climbed to get the best photos. We often get our tea and snacks and enjoy watching your videos together and I wanted you to know that they have brought back a lot of memories for Mum about her years living in London, meeting my Dad and travelling around before settling down here. You are a fantastic tour guide and I thank you for your easy and informative style. BTW, both Mum and I love that there is a coat room and think the gift shop looked amazing.
Hello from Phoenix, Arizona. 😂That was a beautiful story, thank you for sharing that ❤️. I love hearing all the old stories that my grandmother would tell me. We can learn a lot from them.
Hannah, thank you so much for this fabulous video of the V&A. My wife and I agree that you can take us to the V&A as many times and for as long as you wish to make your videos. You are an excellent host and guide. Blessings 😊
The Victoria and Albert is a brilliant museum. You can spend hours just looking at one gallery. It's very much the thinking person's London attraction.
Aside from each of the exhibits being so different and intriguing, the building itself was such an incredible backdrop ! Could spend a long time there admiring all the details. Honourable mention to one of the greatest gift shops of all time, as well
The V&A museum has shot to the top of my "Must Do" list on my next visit abroad to the UK. Hannah, I kept wanting you to slow down, oh look over there, no wait, please wait, Hannah let's look over there! And as someone who's been in loads of gift shops, this is a 15/10! Fantastic! Thank you Hannah!!
Hannah, Your tour means so much to me: years ago I came to London on a tour from Alabama (yes the country mouse came to the big city!) and the red bus passed the V & A. I remember wishing I could take a whole day to wander it. So seeing it through your witty eyes is a total joy. Loved it so much. Thank you.
This is a superlative production and presentation. A true highlight is your quiet narration. It's captivating and relaxing. It kept me around. A dream would be Hannah narrating audio books.
What a wonderful job Hannah did in presenting the exhibits at the V&A. I was there with my late wife years ago and the museum was absolutely glorious. My wife especially enjoyed the jewelry exhibit.
Happy St. George’s Day (or just Tuesday), Hannah! Absolutely brilliant vlog today. A wonderful tour of the V&A museum. So many beautiful things and amazing creativity on display. Very much appreciate and enjoy the two a week vlogs. Glad that it appears that Spring has (finally) arrived in London. Hope you have a wonderful week and looking forward to Friday’s vlog.
16:30 Just wanna say we all appreciate you risking life and limb to show us the sights of London, Hannah! Also, I checked Wiki for UK's most visited attractions, the data was from 2022, but V&A ranked 7th for the whole country (around 2.4 million visitors) equivalent to the Science Museum numbers next door; a few hundred thousand behind the National Gallery and 1.5 to 1.7million short of the big boys like the Tate Modern and British Museum. So it's not necessarily overlooked but given how much variety they have on show it definitely deserves way more. You must have gotten lucky visiting when it wasn't so busy.
Thank you Hannah, for those of us who can't afford a UK holiday. Just wonderful and FREE! Amazing! You are lucky to live in such a culturally rich country and city. 😊💐🌸💜
Hannah, this tour was amazing! I absolutely love your vlogging as you walk through, and all the different things you showed us! The running commentary is very smooth, and I love how your attention gets diverted to point out other things, or make statements about something that caught your eye. I just can’t express how much happiness I get from your videos. And when we finally travel to London for an extended stay, the V and A is the first place we’ll go! Thank you! ❤❤
Hannah, my wife loves your channel. I turned her on to your channel because she wanted to see the UK and London prior to coming on trips with me. Great job...keep it going. Daniel
Thank you so much for this, Hannah. Brought back many memories of my visit to the V and A in 1971!! I had to keep reminding my self to close my mouth!! A magnificent yet comfortable place. Thank you again, Lawrie in Philadelphia.
One of the highlights of our London trip was the V and A this past October. Thank you so much for highlighting it. I takes me right back there. I saw the costumes, jewellry and silver as you did. The large paintings by Raphael are called cartoons. They were the preview to the actual tapestries which would have been made. The Chihouly chandelier is magnificent. Glorious buildings too. Love, love, love! Also please never underestimate what your museum visits mean to other people. Or even the architecture of London - a charming and wonderful mix of things you can't see anywhere else. Hannah, it has value.
That was a marvellous meander on an antiques road trip . From the fashion collection, through viking invasion to the exorcism section. What a wonderful building and cultural experience to have on your door step
What in the Harry Potter! ... I've never heard this one before. 🤣🤣🤣 I don't know why I thought this museum would be boring. I have to go next time. Unlike you I'd absolutely love the ironwork section. I have some iron furniture and decor in my home. And I love the selection of William Morris stuff in the gift shop. Hannah, you definitely got me planing my next London trip!
Thank you Hannah for showing V&A! It is always a thrill to tour this museum as there is so much to see and experience! There is never enough time to see it all😊
Hannah this was a really interesting tour of the V & A Museum in London! I am shocked that a museum that nice is completely free of charge! Thx Hannah for once again taking us to another of London's premier locations! You have a keen ability for showcasing the most interesting & iconic places to see in London! Hannah, I look forward to Friday's vlog, & to see where you & Natalie will be dining next! In the meantime, have a nice week Hannah & stay safe!!!
The Dale Chihuly installation at the entrance, the layered glass, is so amazing. I did an internship at the Orland Museum of Art (Winter Park, Florida, USA) during a Chihuly exhibition and got to unpack some of his "cartoons", the beginnings of his designs - it was so beautiful! Thanks, Hannah, once again for a great wee tour!
Thank you very much, my wife and I have always wanted to visit the V&A. Now thanks to your vlog, we will definitely find time to visit, when we next come to London. Thoroughly enjoyed your vlog, keep up the excellent work.
Cheers Hannah, it’s Sean in Atlanta! When I stayed in Earl’s Court, it was just down the street from there and I got stuck in there one afternoon for several hours! You mentioned Mary Quant and that exhibit happened to be front and centre when I was there! I found that museum to be captivating and if it hadn’t been for the fire alarm test, they probably would’ve found me in there the very next day still wandering around! I used to work in fine jewelry and that section got me like it got you! I would have a hard time deciding between The Tower and The V&A… You are in my favourite room now, the Medieval/ Renaissance room with all the statuary and door frames. I loved that room-it just had a kind of atmosphere… Well done you, and may I just say that your little commercial break left me absolutely speechless… wow! Sean P.S. Hahaha, I meant to call you on all that mooching you’ve been doing! That word just cracks me up!
I agree with most of your comments but would like to add that in the Medieval/Statuary room you (Hannah) stopped by the statue of “a tall man”. In fact it’s a replica of Leonardo da Vinci’s David and yes, it is tall but he’s not just ‘a man’!!! It was lovely to see the V & A through your eyes, Hannah - thank you!
omg, the V&A is incredible! I was there a long time ago and I still recall how in awe I was at that time. When you showed us the jewelry displays......wow....no words. Thank you so much for taking us along!
Thank you Hannah for a wonderful trip to the V&A! I can't believe it's free! Such amazing exhibits on so many topics. Loved the jewellry. You can spend hours there! The Dale Chihuly glass sculpture at the beginning was amazing.
The V&A, Science, British, History museums give you so much more than anything on the web. Go to these people, they are an education ( and you could bump into Hannah ! )
HI HANNAH THAT WAS A VERY INTERESTING WATCH .I REALLY ENJOYED THE VIDEO /VLOG. I REALLY CHILLED OUT AGAIN I REALLY LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR VIDEOS/VLOGS ON TUESDAYS AND FRIDAYS THE MUSEUMS LOOKED VERY INTERESTING THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING US ALONG WITH YOU.I REALLY ENJOY SEEING ALL THESE DIFFERENT PLACES .AND RESTAURANTS .REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO FRIDAYS VLOG/VIDEO.THANK YOU AGAIN HANNAH SEE YOU ON FRIDAY.FROM DAN.M 👍👍👍👍👍👍
In the US, I worked in a bldg where there was an architect firm. Two architects were moving an $80, 000 model out of the bldg to a vehicle to meet a client. I held my breath like no one's business watching them move the model.
Thank you for taking us to the V & A. A museum I have ofcourse heard of but have never seen inside it. What a wonderful place. I'd be going there all the time if I lived in London.
Hi Hannah, loved this vlog today, its been many years since I went around the museums in London, and my memory seems to cross them over thinking a certain area of history is in a certain musuem only to find its in one of the others. Your style of vlog chatty and friendly adds to these trips around London and who does like a good meal in other vlogs. Must say your looked stunning with your hair worn naturally around your shoulders. Hope you continue doing two vlogs a week its great to see you doing two different vlog styles in the week and its nice to see you twice a week as well. Stay safe and enjoy yourself, see you Friday. Steve
I need to get to the V&A to research the archives for a watercolour I have that was part of an exhibition there in 1913 This has just made me want to go even more! Looks great!
Love, love love the V&A! I've visited many times and can't wait to visit again. You can absolutely spend a whole day in there. I'm that old so owned a Sony Walkman!
I never went here when I lived in England but I must visit when I come back next as it is 'stunning'. I still have and use the portable cassette player. Great for listening to old stuff that I recorded about 50 years ago.
As always, Hannah, it is a pleasure being able to watch you go around London and video everything especially this museum. I heard about it living in the US always wanted to visit it and through you I have. Thank you so much for all that you do.
I was there last week, and I do have to agree that it is the best museum in London! I love the huge area with lots of detailed pillars and statues. It feels like I've been transported in time 🤯
Love the V&A . I was so excited to see the replica of “David” not realizing that two years later I will get to see the real one in Florence. Thanks for taking us along, Hanna.
This was fabulous! I can't believe it's free. A person could go there and take a room per week and get an education! I loved it, thank you so much for including this video on your channel! And I WAS wondering where you got those sunglasses!
My first cup of coffee of the day and a trip with Hannah to the V&A Museum. I couldn't have selected a better way to start my day. I may be coming to London for my birthday in March, 2025. Yes, because of your vlogs! I love museums and the fact that this particular museum is somewhat a hidden gem (or lack of culture on the part of tourists) is even better for me. I too would rate this a 10/10 vlog. Thank you so kindly.
My dad was an architect, environmental design professor at San Diego State university. He’s a real character- he saw a UFO 🛸 when he was 14 and it inspired his work and career. Funny side note: my stepmom’s former husband was a scientist and ufologist. My dad is a great admirer of him, though they never met my dad studied his work.
Hated for this to end, what a place! I've always thought the V&A display team is the best in the world, brilliant combination of whimsy, artistry, and dash. Thank you for a fantastic stroll.
I so agree I love the V & A such an amazing place to visit and it's free❤. Thank you for another great informative video. Glad the weather is slowly getting warmer. Take care. Can't wait for your next video 😊 love as usual from Rosie O from a grey Devon, England 🏴 x
What a difference some sunshine makes!! We went there during our trip this month and it seemed so gloomy inside because of the cloudy day. I think the best footage I got while I was there was the huge Raphael cartoon room and the Margaret Thatcher figure thing lol
One of my absolute favourite London museums to visit! I love the theatre section they have as I'm a big fan of the costumes. Loved seeing the fashion section 👀 especially the 1920s!
I love the V & A. You can take my husband and me along here anytime. When we visited London in 2022 we spent a few hours and we could have spent days, there is much to see. I love your channel and the different videos. Thank you for doing this! Donna
Love, love this video. I think the glass sculpture at the entrance hanging from the ceiling is Chihulys. I got to feel I was right there with you. I enjoy museum visit very much. It's one of my favorite pass times in NYC. Thanks for sharing as I don't plan to be in England anytime soon. Or...you never know. ❤😂
Wow! What a cool, FREE tour of an amazing museum! I can't believe it's not busier. It's really a stunning look around! Hannah, you are never boring! I love your commentary! Oops! Glad you didn't fall down the stairs! That gift shop was fantastic, it's like a little mini museum in there! I'm super shocked at the affordability of the items. Thank you for another wonderful vlog! Can't wait for the next one!
From what you have shown us, Hannah, the V&A is quite evidently a stunning museum. It's so vast and filled with beautiful examples of creativity and design. I'd easily lose track of the hour in such a place. Thank you for showing us the historical pieces of toleware! They probably have a sublime collection of crockery too(lol)! I also appreciate an exceptional museum or gallery shop. Might V&A be good on an overcast or even rainy day? Whew, I'm so relieved you didn't fall on the stairs. Take good care of yourself Hannah.
Let’s give Hannah some applause 👏 🎉. Beautiful museum and she showed us the creepy stuff and didn’t break her neck 😊❤
Best travel vloger by far always quality videos makes me want London so bad lol when I can afford it
Yes indeed
I once met a shoe designer in Prêt 😄 who said that on Mondays at the company she worked for there were no meetings, no emails, the day was just intended for finding inspiration. She mentioned going to the V&A, not to look at shoes but to look at tapestries, glass, jewelry etc and study them for designs, textures and colour combinations. Smart company.

You forget the Smithsonian is free.

V&A was absolutely the best museum to visit on a London trip. 10/10.

I’ve heard about the Victoria and Albert but never saw it. What an absolute gem. The whole place seems 10/10. I am really enjoying two vlogs a week.
Hey Hannah! Really love the cheeky little texts at the end of your videos! 💕 Thanks for taking us with you to the V&A!
Aside from each of the exhibits being so different and intriguing, the building itself was such an incredible backdrop ! Could spend a long time there admiring all the details. Honourable mention to one of the greatest gift shops of all time, as well
The jewellery section is my absolute fave part of the museum
Same!

Coo! How wonderful is THAT building? Absolutely STUNNING! (Am I allowed to say that)?! another great vlog Hannah!

The V & A was an excellent choice Hanna! I just loved the jewelry even funky stuff ❤
Perfect timing! The notification for this video came while I am sitting at the airport-waiting for my flight to London 😊
Beautiful, you’ve so changed my itinerary the next time we are in London.
Wonderful Hannah & you may say “stun-ning“ as often as you please. Your whispered voice was easy to hear, well done.
Thank you Hannah, for those of us who can't afford a UK holiday. Just wonderful and FREE! Amazing!
You are lucky to live in such a culturally rich country and city. 😊💐🌸💜
Thank you
We appreciate all you do Hannah! Thank you for the wonderful tour🤗

I spent the whole day in the V&A with my son when in London last time. It was such an inspiring place, invoking great conversations!

Thank you so much for this, Hannah. Brought back many memories of
my visit to the V and A in 1971!! I had to keep reminding my self to
close my mouth!! A magnificent yet comfortable place. Thank you again,
Lawrie in Philadelphia.
That dome with the Chihuly glass sculpture is stunning!
Vlog at the V&A was so entertaining, enjoyable
So hard to believe it is free
Thank you….
Thanks, Hannah! As always, I appreciate you showing us these things, but more than that I appreciate your humor! ❤
What a treat for inspiration.Thank you for a visit there.🎉😄

Visited in 2014, while on holiday in uk from Australia bought the most beautiful earrings and ring ❤
Thanks for visiting V&A
One of the highlights of our London trip was the V and A this past October.
Wow. So beautiful everything.... Absolutely stunning.
Yay!!! I've been waiting for this one!!🤸♀️🤸♂️🤸♀️🤸♂️🤸🤓

The V&A is one if not, my favourite museum in London. I always try to go when I am there. And it's been a while... Thank you for the visit Hannah!
Thank you , Hannah! V&A is on the "London Must-do List" :) Your hair is getting so long and gorgeous--it's a great look!
Thank you for showing us around 👏👏. To our eternal shame Mrs B and I have never visited, but as Mrs B says “ this makes you want to go there” 😀👍
The Dale Chihuly installation at the entrance, the layered glass, is so amazing. I did an internship at the Orland Museum of Art (Winter Park, Florida, USA) during a Chihuly exhibition and got to unpack some of his "cartoons", the beginnings of his designs - it was so beautiful! Thanks, Hannah, once again for a great wee tour!
I have been lucky enough to see Dale Chihuly works of art at OKC Museum of art. They have a whole area of his work.
V&A is also my favorite museum in London! Thank you Hannah! I would love to see a Kew gardens video in the future 💜
HANNAH THE HISTORIAN!! Loved the Tour---❤❤❤ (But please be careful & watch your step while vlogging! We don't want to lose you!!)😮
Thank you very much, my wife and I have always wanted to visit the V&A. Now thanks to your vlog, we will definitely find time to visit, when we next come to London. Thoroughly enjoyed your vlog, keep up the excellent work.
I agree 100% with you dear Hannah! The V&A Museum is the BEST in London. I always go there and then enjoy fabulous tea and scones afterwards.
That was BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you so much for a tour I would never have been able to take otherwise ❤

Wow, incredible throughout! Very enjoyable vlog! There is something of interest for everyone.
WOW, you can certainly spend a lot of time there. Beautiful!
That was wonderful, Hannah!!! I fully enjoyed the visit to the V&A. Looking forward to lunch with Nat on Friday.
I’m loving the architecture! I could spend hours there. I’m a huge history lover. What a treat. Thank you ☺️

When we went to the beautiful V&A Museum last April we went first thing in the morning and it wasn’t busy at all and very, very quiet. We loved it!
Yes, one of my favorite museums in Europe.
Love the V&A . I was so excited to see the replica of “David” not realizing that two years later I will get to see the real one in Florence. Thanks for taking us along, Hanna.
I had a little chuckle when I heard Hannah refer to him as “that man”.
😍😍❤️ Wonderful tour!! You really took us with you, sensational!!
Do not forget to go to the inside cafe for a coffee - it is stunning - the most beautiful cafe ever - I love the V & A

I had to go back and pause on the 1500BC jewelry. Those are pieces you could wear today, especially #1 and #2.
❤❤❤❤very cool thanks for letting us join you on this trip
Hannah: “What in the Harry Potter are these?” 😂 Thank you for taking us around the museum. I’m a member and I still haven’t seen everything in there!
Thank you for taking us. This was one place I wanted to visit when we were in London but didn’t have time.
Take care. Can't wait for your next video 😊 love as usual from Rosie O from a grey Devon, England 🏴 x
that was brilliant!! thanks for taking us round, really want to go back there now
That swirl of all different gems was Amazing!! Great job w all of it!!❤️🙋🏻♀️
What a difference some sunshine makes!!
A fantastic place, my only visit was in 1971, your video reminds me just how much fantastic stuff there is in there. Wow. Good job, thankyou.
I love the V & A. You can take my husband and me along here anytime. When we visited London in 2022 we spent a few
hours and we could have spent days, there is much to see.
Just fabulous. What a place and free to visit.
What a beautiful building. You can spend all day looking at the displays. Thank you Hannah.
Beautiful architecture great exhibits just great day at museum 😊
