I built this shed summer of 2019. Couldn’t find the windows, so I went a little bigger on the ones I could find, and added a third on the wall with the “hidden” door. I used the little bit of extra framing lumber and the door piece of LP smart side to build a barn style door for the front to save the $200 it would have cost for a solid door. Came out fantastic! I poured the slab myself, and everything. Even put a nice round edge on it. This was by far the biggest, most complicated thing I’ve built, by far! Thanks so much Jeff!
    For anyone wondering about cost...
Concrete slab 6” thick plus all tools - $600
Materials for shed plus all tools - $2250
Bought cheap red barn paint, and white trim (matched my red house with white trim)
Took about 40 hrs to build after letting the slab wet cure for two weeks. Worth every penny and minute. And the sense of accomplishment still hasn’t passed!
Three BIG snow/ice storms and a year and change later, not a drop of moisture inside, and roof system supported about 2’ of heavy snow pack with no issue.

I love all of the shortcuts and tips that you throw in there with your sense of humor! I still haven't built my shed yet, but it will be larger than this one for sure. But you work so hard and share such good information that I immediately started supporting your channel (my first one). Your info is invaluable and I can see where I'm ready and have the confidence that I need. We have worked with Habitat for Humanity so it won't be the first time that I've used power tools for sure. What a thoughtful guy to put this video together. There was a lot to learn that could be transferred to other concrete projects. He demonstrated how much work was involved and the strength required but also inspired those who can't afford to hire professional contractors. He gave many helpful hints and demonstrated the use of different equipment. He was simple and clear in his demonstrations that most DIYers really appreciate. Any errors he may have made and pointed out were appreciated too because the fear of them is why so many people never try doing these projects themselves. Thank you Sir!

So Glad i chanced up on this , i watched from start to finish, i was so pleased how you explained things simply for people who do not have all the correct tools, using the set square (triangle) was a revelation for me . I do have a chop saw but such a bind having to get soo many tools out and i am purely a DIYer. Unfortunately we do not have quite the same materials available here in UK, and prices of Lumbar has rocketed. So i have used your tips. and put own twist on them ie i used pallet wood which took hours to dismantle them. But well worth it as it is free wood & so happy with results on building my own storage shed. Thankyou look forward to watching more of your projects .

I just found these videos earlier today and watched the whole shed build. I would have died if I had to wait the 18 months for the final product lol

I have learned a lot! A shed is the next DIY thing for us. The hinges screwed are outside, there must not be a theft issue in the area...

Holy that was intense... Ill be honest really didn't have any interest in sheds but this is one crazy story. Must say I learned a lot though, thank you for making this. Your a madman for working in that heat!!! Looks nice I could live in that tiny house you built haha! - DR DDS
