In the polarity, the normal transformers are used with subtractive polarity, right? why? are there transformers that work with additive polarity? if yes, where? can you please explain?
@@raman137 Jus like you explained the dot convention where one orientation of dots on secondary will result in lesser output (due to subtractive polarity) and the reverse orientation will give more voltage due to additive polarity. Here polarity comparison is between primary and secondary of a 2 winding transformer.

@@raman137 Yes.. But practically secondary dot can go down ward when secondary winding is wound in anticlockwise direction. This is done for practical easiness in Delta connection..and in the case of single phase generator transformer banks for external bus duct formation.... Transformer is stationary device only iron and copper loses and trace amount of strey loss.its 4 to 5 % of full load. But induction motor is a running device there are windage and frictional loss addition to Eddy current and copper loss.that is why starting current is high. Got it??

No current is stored in substation for distribution purpose .only Store DC on Cell for controlling purpose
