I feel like Ruan Mei pretty much works on everyone, But when it comes to significant teams I feel like this is quite a unique team, Ruan as an Ice Harmony that feels like an imaginary character with an actual imaginary character, I don't know why but that just seems like a nice combination.
Agreed :) the second imprisonment is actually insane :D especially in current Meta. I love them together with Luocha and another DPS like Blade or Silver Wolf/Pela.
That’s so weird you mentioned Welt. So I actually won my 50/50 and got Ruan Mei and I’m so happy, I just need her traces since she’s basically ready to go. I went for her LC…and ended up getting Welt’s LC..when I don’t even have him. If I had Welt I’d love to use him but I just thought it was funny (And I actually got her LC)
Welt is my fave character and so I paired him up with basic Dan in the mean time. The team was missing something, and that something was Ruan Mei! I'm building up my Ruan now to place her on Welts team. They look like they could be a husband and Wife team lol. I'll call it the Time Force team :D
HEAR ME OUT Welt + Ratio + Ruan mei + Sustain I think this team would work very well because of Ruan's specialty in double dps, and welt would have Sweat for more debuffs... Surely it's a good team right? (I'm just coping so I have a reason to get Ruan Mei)
Really need to build welt . Have him since day one ( and him at E2 with his lc) but farming his relics was so bad i stop trying ... maybe i would try now since i didn't need to farm for ruan mei as i already have almost perfect relics and pre farm her trace ...

TL;DR: Moon is right, listen to her. I have to agree with this team ... I'm pseudo-FTP player, i will get nameless honor but not buy jade, so my comps are limited. I did save for Ruan Mei, though ... Both my main DPS are quantum, which made the new boss difficult to say the least. I was having a really hard time until I switched to Ruan Mei, Welt, Sushang and Lynx (my only competent sustainer) and I walked through it - farming it afterwards, as well. I won't use them all the time, but it's super competent.
Oh finally some Welt gameplay. Definitely looks like a team to try since i need some imaginary damage with Welt. Im going to give this team a try for sure
Had a similar idea and I'm happy Ruan Mei works great with Welt. Ever since I lost the 50/50 twice and got E1 Welt, I thought it was a good idea to build him. So far, he's served me well even with mid relics, but I'm glad Ruan mei can give the extra boost he needs.
I tried Welt + Ruan Mei in MoC 12, but didn't achieve desired results. I went with the following teams instead... on auto-battle, lol. Finished with 21 cycles left. Side 1: DHIL hypercarry (DHIL, Bronya, Hanya, Huo Huo) Side 2: Jingliu hypercarry (Jingliu, Pela, Ruan Mei, Luocha)

I got to building this exact same team after pulling Ruan Mei to make use of my poorly build E6 Sushang and welt... The only problem is that farming relics in this game blows so bad idk if my account is cursed or something, I always get amazing crit pieces on supports relics and amazing support pieces on dps relics and energy ropes simply doesn't exist
I don't wanna be negative but that was a 6 cycle clear meaning you'd need a 4 cycle clear on the other side. I still like the team + it's very safe With a tiny bit more investement I'm sure it can 5 cycle MC 1st half. We can't see relics but I know Hybrid Shushang blasts. All in all interesting video and teamcomp, makes me want to build my Welt
I've been playing since launch and Welt was my most wanted base 5-star. As luck would have it I pulled on the Ruan banner and lost the 50/50 to him, and luckily got Ruan soon after. Built them both up right away and decided to test them in SU world 8 (which I had not beat yet) and easily beat it with Huo Huo heals and Tingyun buffs in the first attempt. So glad I got both characters and I'm glad someone else noticed their synergy together.

I’m glad you made this video! I’m still in shock though. I just started the game recently. The starter banner gave me Welt which I felt was really lucky given the pairing with Ruan Mei is so strong so I’ve been farming to get her from the limited banner and just struck my 5* at 72 pulls. I lost the 50/50 and it’s another Welt!? He’s my only 5* and the game gave me a dupe. His E1 description seems strong but is it actually good? I just hope I can still farm her guaranteed pull from the banner again now… I guess I have a lot of starter jades but unless it’s early I’m doubtful it will be enough to hit 70+ again in time…
I’m really sad since I made a team that I think would work really good with her, that being Jingliu, Pela, Gepard and Ruan Mei but I ended up losing the 50/50 😰 But I lost to Bronya, so all is forgiven
hey! what teams would you recommend for MOC runs? I kinda rolled only for only support and tank 5 star units(got all the limited supports + bronya + welt at least) and now stuck with supports but no dps I only have selee as DPS so my 2nd team is super weak so i cant get past moc 7. I got all 4 star units too.

It seems like with this sort of team you want to try and skip a healer if you can for max turns in MoC, but that requires a bit of trial and error. I was leaning toward using my 300 guarantee for Himeko after playing Hi3 but I'm considering Welt too after watching this.
When Ratio comes out I wonder what fake Mono Hunt would look like. Welt/Ratio/Dan Heng/Topaz. Always having at least two debuffs, Dan’s slow being stronger than Welt and overlaying effect, Ratio + Topaz follow ups. Will the enemy die first or will one of your Hunts? That is the question. Too bad this team is too SP negative to work. Maybe if you lay off Dan’s Skill and Topaz’s Skill it might, but that’s just a theory for now.
138 speed, 94 break effect, 30% ehr (can be more ehr but not the perfect build welt), and 58 crit 103 crit dmg. It's worth trying to do hybrid for good delays from imprisonment break and also good dmg from crit rate/dmg. for relics, imaginary 4pc, inert set in this video
@@Moonnverse sick. Yeah I’m theory crafting mine as well since trying to do Crit welt in the past has always felt kinda mid. My plan is to make his the best for supportive Welt so planning to make mine 141 speed with as much BE and forgoing Crit entirely

Now because I'm a hardcore welt fan and I love ruan mei too I pushed this team and gave MoC 12 first half a guy without a sustainer and just the two of them. The build I used was simply welt with as much SPD EHR and break effect as possible and I'm glad to report I managed to do it. I needed a lot of speed on kafka which meant PAYN was somewhat of a necessity but kafka is extremely resistant to lightning anyway so I like to think it evens out. Eitherway if that is something that interests you, I'd love to see you try it out or make a video on it! I know jingliu can work if you use tingyun or bronya and they are geared properly.
@@alfinprathama8219 My welt doesnt have a 4p or 2p, 60 EHR, 145 SPD, with I think 120 break effect. If you want a strong welt for this that'll make your life easier then I recommend getting him to 160.1 SPD, 60 or so EHR, and as much Break effect as possible while running resolution. The 4p can be break effect or you can do 2p spd 2p break effect, the planars are break effect ones with HP BE mains. overall you want EHR SPD HP/DEF BE. Keep in mind this is JUST for support welt to break enemies and keep them delayed.

@@alfinprathama8219 That's fair about the LCs. To clarify, 4p means 4 piece set bonus, and 2p means 2 piece set bonus. 145 Speed is not that hard to reach with speed boots and a few good subs. Keep in mind ruan meis talent at level 10 is giving welt 10 speed. So you only need 150.1 speed to reach it. You're simply looking for break effect subs.

Just focus on main story first. I'm Welt Yang main too as sub DPS. But, I probably gonna wait re-run banner like Jing Liu and Fu Xuan

Xueyi , qq , and sushang are really strong 4* even better if you have then at E6 . Qq is better than most of 5 * dps in moc

May I know everything about your Welt Yang? Like what I should I focus on his Relic and what is his best stats for all stats?

I been trying a full ice team using march, jingliu, pela, and ruan mei. I'm kinda thinking about raising my yanqing to replace march in the team
