- In today's video I will be showing you my favorite BBQ smoked chicken breast recipe! This is a great recipe for meal prep, or for an awesome weeknight dinner option! It takes almost no time, can be prepped ahead of time, and the only thing you have to do is make sure you don't overcook the chicken breast! I absolutely love BBQ chicken, and BBQ chicken breast can be absolutely amazing as long as it's cooked proper. I highly recommend giving this recipe a try! For today's cook, I ran my Lone Star Grillz pellet grill, and I cooked at 275º. As always, I'll have the full recipe down below!

Full Recipe:
Ingredients
-Chicken breasts
-Tailgater's BBQ Party Rub
-Ash Kickin' BBQ Honey Chipotle
-BBQ sauce
Instructions
Prep:
1. Trim the chicken breast per the instructions in the video.
2. Season the chicken breasts with Tailgaters BBQ Party Rub and Ash Kickin' BBQ Honey Chipotle on both sides.
Cooking
1. Set your smoker for 275°F
2. Put the chicken breasts on the smoker, and allow to smoke until they reach 150º F internally.
3. Once the chicken breast has reached 150º F, apply sauce for the first time, and then let them continue cooking for 5 minutes.
4. After 5 more minutes, apply another coat of sauce. Keep applying sauce every 5 minutes until the chicken breast have reached your desired internal temperature. For me, I usually pull the chicken at 158-160º F, and allow the carryover cooking to finish them.
5. Once the BBQ smoked chicken breast has reached you preferred temperature, remove, rest, eat, and enjoy my favorite BBQ smoked chicken recipe!

Nice cook and great job on the even slices, brother!
I swear nothing beats perfectly smoked chicken or turkey, my fav method is spatchcocking, it’s my go to if I wanna impress
That looks fantastic! I’m very impressed you were able to get that level of moisture without a brine or injection. Well done!
Just followed this as my maiden voyage with my new smoker. Best chicken I’ve ever had. Thanks!
Great to know, Think this will also be my first. Then the main run Monday morning, Pork shoulder butt. 🤞🤞

That chicken looks amazing!!!
Thank you
Good looking Chicken man.
I see you like to put meat on upper grate. Can you please explain to us novices why you do that and also where your heat source is on the pellet grill so we have an idea of how to adjust to our brand on grill? Thank you! Really enjoying your videos and recipes. I have done several of yours - the recent "Master Pellet Grill Ribs: Perfectly Smoked Ribs " from about 4 months ago ended up in friends volunteering to come over to make sure there were no leftovers. That recipe totally redeemed me on the ribs. LOL!
Just bought some from Sucklebusters amazon store, the honey bbq and some spg
You didn’t buy my rub off Amazon. It’s not on Amazon.
@AshKickinBBQ I seen that. I'll pick up some soon, had some gift card balance left on Amazon.
Looks delicious! Not a bad meal when you’re watching calories and don’t want the same old, boring food. Nice job 🐷🥃
Would a make a difference to use a water pan for a cook this short?
No

@AshKickinBBQ thank you! Your my favorite channel now!
Just curious about how long does this cook take?
Until they're temping where you want them
Smoking doesn’t go by time only temp!
I totally understand the “temp over time” but sometimes it’s helpful to know a rough time so I can plan evenings and meals
Yes I go by temp... but if you have done a cook enough times you know an about time
Again, if I’ve done it before I’d know a rough time and wouldn’t ask. But that’s why I’m watching a video on it!
Thanks for two ways to do something interesting with a rather bland ingredient, the boneless skinless chicken breast
Just made these last night and I will never use my normal grill for chicken breast again.
You talk a lot
Okay
Skip the video if you don’t like it dude
You can always watch something else 🫵
