      Hi David, we had no flooding here in Lexington, NC. Things were pretty calm on High Rock Lake. The water did not rise, and no major limbs fell.
      I talked to a friend who has a house in Garden City, SC, and he said the streets along the beachfront flooded. He added that they flood at times during normal storms as well.
      I cannot leave town this weekend to check things out for myself, but I did find this video of flooding around Garden City Bay and Pawleys Inland.

      A couple of piers also recieved damage along the Grand Strand, one being Cherry Grove Pier in North Myrtle Beach

      I also looked online for flooding in Whispering Pines and found no reports in the area. Have you heard of any flooding yourself?

      @@TimothyFrench no but i live out of state...i saw some news sites claiming approx 2-4 inches in nearby towns in the last 2 hours

      @@davidbea3711 while some trees may have fallen from wind gust in the area, I can not find any news stories about it. Winds did pick up overnight in my area. But truthfully we have had thunderstorms worse than my experience with Ian. Sorry I could not be of more help to you.
