just test of an unsupported sli configuration using different'sli'auto. motherboard does not support sli and second full size pcie slot runs at only 4x. bridge is not required with different'sli'auto but is there anyway for stability and most optimal performance. motherboard is from a dell optiplex 7010 system...

I would consider this experiment to be a success, seeing as though everything looks to be running OK despite the lack of SLI support from the mainboard.

indeed. i wanted to test a couple matching cards just to see how it compared to official sli, and yeah, scaling and performance essentially are very similar. unsupported motherboard. second slot only 4x speed. and you don't need to use the bridge either, it just guarantees a bit better scaling and less chance of stutter and etc. i have a few other videos after this one with some mismatched cards, and one without a bridge, etc.
