So satisfying watching a center midfielder from Tottenham make that awesome looking BBQ sandwich! Beautiful my man. Congrats from Texas, well done Devin Thomas Mutts & Butts BBQ Team Prosper Texas
Absolutely the best part of the chicken, and you did it perfectly. I'll definitely be making a video of this sammich. Thanks for sharing. New subscriber here. 👍
Lovely Stuff, as usual!!! As a KCBS Judge; My favourite round is definitely Chicken, as it is most often than not, Bone In and Skin On Thighs that have been cooked with an expertise and nuance that just compliments, perfectly, the Chicken and the Seasonings used.
Smoked chicken thighs are by far one of my bbq favourites, great video! Where did buy the non-brioche st pierre buns? All the st pierre buns/rolls I've seen have always been brioche. Thanks :)
I used my smoker 4 times last summer. I used my kettle bbq 2 or 3 times a week! Whilst I love a slow smoke, thighs/wings/pork loin (offset but hot!) were the crowd favourites
Looks real good - will have to give it a go sometime - might have to try some direct heat on my wsm. That chud box looks nice. Is it already rusting there on the handle and a few other places? Or did your rub miss the target?
I often have friends over in the summertime and make chicken thighs like this. They are always a hit. Plus it’s a great weeknight option with the faster cooking time.
The local morrisons have started stocking the Big K 15kg which was a right touch saves a long drive over to bbq land, although I do like their store - got a great range of stuff.
They’re cooking tweezers/ garnish tongs/ precision tongs. Many names - but you’ll find them! Much easier and less clunky when handling food than proper tongs.
Weird one, the charcoal chimney starter leaves behind white ash on the grill and you place the chicken thighs onto it, does this affect the flavour or texture?
Direct heat chicken thighs are almost always the answer to any problem that life might throw at you. Great video!
Couldn’t agree more!
Indirect heat to make pulled chicken is also really great

Finally did this cook. Incredible.
We may need to try this ! Once we know what we are doing 😂 Great video and great idea 👍🏻 ❤
This is great, I hope you will have a whole series on meats you get in UK/Ireland!
100% my go-to bbq for cost, time, flavor, and fat. So easy to get the skin nice and crispy.
Great video! Would love a series like this!

Made these last week with a brisket, turkey and pulled pork and this was by my favourite thing I made!!!
Ok. I'm making this on my Chud Box! Thanks!
I love videos like this. Great ideas for relatively quick tea's, especially from the UK. Keep them coming

Great video and keep them coming. I just did some direct heat pork ribs and the wife won’t go back to smoked now. Best of luck and be safe
They’re so good! I also prefer the direct flavour over smoked at the moment!
@@WilsonsBBQ yea I made a 24x24x32 inches tall cud box with 3 grates and now nothing else gets used. Keep them coming
I just cooked this recipe in my back garden on my home built bbq and it’s the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten. That sauce is dynamite too!

great easy sandwich. wow. grettings from germany!
Thanks for the cooking tips, just did some great tacos with chicken ties, crispy skin is THE WAY.
This looks awesome. Chicken with Chud's snake bite is also really good. I'd love to see you do some weber videos!
Love chicken thighs! Try some Dan-O's (Green Top) seasoning on them, cooked the same way. So good!
Love this recipe! 👍. Looking forward to the next one in this series 😯
Thank’s a lot! A thank you for watching!
Really easy and really good! Try it Love it!

Agreed. It’s a regular option in our house for sure

I love the fact they often stock beef cheeks
@@WilsonsBBQ yeah beef and pork cheeks and all sorts of lesser used goodies
Man I made one 🔥🔥🔥
Great american style BBQ.. even had the UK's version of a bald eagle squawk in the background! 🤣
what charcoal do you use?
Killin It Man Cheerz From Cypress Tx
Appreciate it! Thank’s a lot for watching!
Looks great, I will definitely be doing this one! What are the tongs you have there? They look ace
I have the same question! Are those just some 12” tweezers?
They’re cooking tweezers/ garnish tongs/ precision tongs. Many names - but you’ll find them! Much easier and less clunky when handling food than proper tongs.
Fabulous Video. But can you cram any more barbecue people you know or make the tools you are using.?
I’ll try!!
Looks great man! Keep it up. Sometimes a good salt and pepper rub is all you need.
Thank’s a lot for watching! And I definitely agree
Great video Dave 👍🏻
Cheers for watching mate!
Nice vid! Can you update with a UK link to the Goldies rub please buddy? Thanks
Sorry! Yes done now
If you like vinegar based sauces, have you tried Alabama White Sauce on chicken thighs?
The dip method is outstanding

Those look delicious! I could eat them plain without bun or sauce. Thighs are the best!
I agree!!
👍
Weird one, the charcoal chimney starter leaves behind white ash on the grill and you place the chicken thighs onto it, does this affect the flavour or texture?
It’s not the chimney itself, it’s just the ashes leftover from the natural wood fire lighter. Nothing bad or anything that effects flavour.
Frank's Hot Sauce, I put that Shit on everything!
Cooking on a Chud Box but using that crappy charcoal chimney, Brad better send you a better one, I mean, you did invite him to your house. 🤣
Oh, I had a red kyte steal some chicken tikka off my BBQ!!
No Chic-fil-A sauce?
I imagine chuck roasts are pretty cheap over there too. Think of the possibilities.
