Thanks Steve. The country I grew up in was one where you helped out your neighbour. Love to hear your adventures out on the road some time.

As always, another great episode Six. I really like Liz's pātai of Where did we go wrong? I went offshore to study and came home to Wellington and went Eh, there are even more homeless than before I left... I am grateful for places in Wellington that I know of attempting to make a difference in people's lives like Kaibosh and the Wellington Community Law Centre where I volunteered for a few years.

Thanks for the feedback. It is disheartening that poverty is getting worse. But I believe we can change the world with on random at kindness at a time.

Would love to see Luxon out their doing something to help, instead of flying all around the world. I would expect no help from National. You are doing real good work, keep it up

Thanks. You can't only Blame Luxton. We've been blindly follow an ideology of Neo Liberalism since the 84 Lange government.

Sometimes the hardest thing in life is to maintain a positive attitude. In my experience most people are good and want to help. It's the minority of assholes that poison our communities .

Id love to hear more about your story. I think you are right and when need to find housing solutions tailored for Maori, and perhaps other cultures.

@kroadchronicle my story is along and hard one for me, but here goes. Me and my 4 babies came back home from Australia during covid in 2020. My parter at the time didn't want to be a mum or be in a relationship anymore. So all that was left for me was to bring myself and my babies back home, Only to find there were no landlords willing to rent to a solo dad with 4 young children. So I brought a tent and a car and went back to the land and stayed their and did what I had to do to feed and house my children. Long story short, It took 4yrs to get back on my feet and get over the depression I had but now we are living our own lives free on our whanau whenua
