Haven’t heard of any of those except from Steve Perry *duh* but I reacted to a lot of the names, they sound Swedish/Scandinavian 😅 correct me if I’m wrong though. Before I even clicked on the video, I said to myself, "I'll be surprised as hell if he doesn't have Steve Perry in his list." Because, hun, I gotta say that you sing Steve's songs PERFECTLY and in my opinion you sound exactly like him when you sing Journey. I know he would be extremely proud if he heard your covers. To imagine YOU idolizing anyone else seems impossible now that you are such a force musically yourself. I am fascinated by your journey and will DEFINATELY research all of these singers to see what they did that made them so special. You most probably not get to see this My favorite singer was Freddie Mercury still is but you my other number 1 You won't have heard of this group they are called lindisfarne, from UK, Newcastle, if you can look them up songs - Clear white light Lady Eleanor and many others Also I like Slade - Far far away. Many more songs Can you do any of these, you will make an old lady happy. I love the tone of your voice, quite few of your songs bring me to tears, the passion you put into a song is beautiful to behold. I love Call to Arms by Manowar. The way you sang Star Spangled Banner and how you ended it. Reminded Me that you could be the Lead Singer for Manowar or that you could have your OWN band that sounds as powerful and melodic as Manowar. YEAH! FOR SURE!

I love The Wizard's Dream by Rhapsody of Fire and Christopher Lee (well-known as Saruman from LOTR). And I was very surprised hearing Lee's voice. At the moment I listen to much your songs, Nickelback, Billy Talent and some mixed like Black Veil Brides and cartoon songs 😅
Eric Adams is indeed the greatest heavy metal singer in my opinion. I have been a faithful fan since 1986! Check out Bible Black " She's gone" and " Back to Back" to hear Adams in his pre Manowar days! He only did vocals for these 2 songs and there isn't much information surrounding his time with the group but its still pretty fn cool to say the least! Cheers and keep up the awesome work! I can't go into detail how...Don't wanna get smacked with Joeys lawsuit hammer but I can say he truly is an awesome man,a phenomenal singer,one heck of a funny guy and at last a gentleman. One more thing,Eric loves and I mean Loves his fans! Back in the kings of metal days they were planning on doing a music video for Heart of steel..it was hunting season and Eric had a beard. I told him it looked cool! He goes oh yeah? Thanks! Maybe I will wear it in the next Manowar video! Its gonna have footage of our fans around the world and us on the tour bus! Showing the amazing times we have with them! Anyway sorry for the long winded comment. Just great to speak with a true brother of metal!
Kinda feel sorry he has never showed out Manowar and demonstrate power of his voice in more various way. Imagine him taking part in large projects like Metal Opera or Ayreon..
Hmmm, I'm still a fan of Meat Loaf. He can do incredible things with his voice (or could, R.I.P). Pair him with Jim Steinman and the world just opens up. He's not metal, but he is a showman and he knows how to get his voice to put the right amount of emotion into the song. Tracks: "I'ld Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)", "Objects in the Rearview Mirror," and my go-to when down, "Rock and Roll Dreams Come True.". Any cover of these would be awesome.

My favourite singer is definitely Joacim Cans from HammerFall. He's the master of the high tone I think. Even on their new album "Dominion", he still have that high tone like on first albums (song "And Yet I Smile" is a good example). Definitely my fav! Other great singer for me is Jan Thore Grefstad from Saint Daemon. The band is not that popular, but it surely is great! When I first heard "My Heart" from them, I've got goosebumps. The song started kinda calm, and then he hit the powerful high note and I was stunned! He's really great. Olaf Hayer from the band Dionysus is also really great. He don't have as high voice as Joacim or Jan, but his voice is really clean and is really colorful! Sadly he can't sing anymore, but their 3 albums are really good! I would recommend songs Anima Mundi, Spirit, and the ballad Don't Forget. Also some memorable mention: Andreas Schätz from german band Don't Drop The Sword. He has similar voice to Hansi from Blind Guardian, and it sounds really great. I recommend their EP "The Wild Hunt". It has mix with some harsh and deep vocals in the combination of the clean power ones! And I'm glad you mentioned Michael Kiske and Tony Kakko. These two are truly gems!

Well, Dan, it's difficult to say. Everyone has some preferences. I must agree with you about Steve Perry, it's one of my favorites. I love the voice of Floor Jansen and Darren Hayes, but also the voice of Klaus Mine. They sing differently, but, they sing well, and so does you! By the way, I'm brazilian. I'm so glad you mentioned Tony Kakko! He's my favourite singer ever and the reason I started learning distortion at 14 and metal screams at 16. (My coach was unsettled, but agreed to get me started.) My entire family is... not a fan of his singing voice, to say the least. (Why is he so WHINY? Maybe if you didn't listen to this all the time you'd whine less!) I think his vocal tone is amazing and his screaming is unbelievable, and I'm glad to have someone my family actually considers a good singer (you) back me up. The only other singer I recommend so highly is Floor Jansen, the current frontwoman of Nightwish. She moves so effortlessly between every genre- she makes rap fans like metal, metal fans like pop, and pop fans like opera. Every song she sings becomes better for her singing it. She has such amazing control on everything from operatic vocals to growling and screaming.

I love The Wizard's Dream by Rhapsody of Fire and Christopher Lee (well-known as Saruman from LOTR). And I was very surprised hearing Lee's voice. At the moment I listen to much your songs, Nickelback, Billy Talent and some mixed like Black Veil Brides and cartoon songs 😅

Eric Adams is indeed the greatest heavy metal singer in my opinion. I have been a faithful fan since 1986! Check out Bible Black " She's gone" and " Back to Back" to hear Adams in his pre Manowar days! He only did vocals for these 2 songs and there isn't much information surrounding his time with the group but its still pretty fn cool to say the least! Cheers and keep up the awesome work! I have a friend who is close to him and he said Eric used to play the guitar on this group! Joey convinced him to start focusing on his voice!
I personally know him quite well! I can't go into detail how...Don't wanna get smacked with Joeys lawsuit hammer but I can say he truly is an awesome man,a phenomenal singer,one heck of a funny guy and at last a gentleman. One more thing,Eric loves and I mean Loves his fans! Back in the kings of metal days they were planning on doing a music video for Heart of steel..it was hunting season and Eric had a beard. I told him it looked cool! He goes oh yeah? Thanks! Maybe I will wear it in the next Manowar video! Its gonna have footage of our fans around the world and us on the tour bus! Showing the amazing times we have with them! Anyway sorry for the long winded comment. Just great to speak with a true brother of metal!
Kinda feel sorry he has never showed out Manowar and demonstrate power of his voice in more various way. Imagine him taking part in large projects like Metal Opera or Ayreon..

Hmmm, I'm still a fan of Meat Loaf. He can do incredible things with his voice (or could, R.I.P). Pair him with Jim Steinman and the world just opens up. He's not metal, but he is a showman and he knows how to get his voice to put the right amount of emotion into the song. Tracks: "I'ld Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)", "Objects in the Rearview Mirror," and my go-to when down, "Rock and Roll Dreams Come True.". Any cover of these would be awesome.

My favourite singer is definitely Joacim Cans from HammerFall. He's the master of the high tone I think. Even on their new album "Dominion", he still have that high tone like on first albums (song "And Yet I Smile" is a good example). Definitely my fav!
Other great singer for me is Jan Thore Grefstad from Saint Daemon. The band is not that popular, but it surely is great! When I first heard "My Heart" from them, I've got goosebumps. The song started kinda calm, and then he hit the powerful high note and I was stunned! He's really great.
Olaf Hayer from the band Dionysus is also really great. He don't have as high voice as Joacim or Jan, but his voice is really clean and is really colorful! Sadly he can't sing anymore, but their 3 albums are really good! I would recommend songs Anima Mundi, Spirit, and the ballad Don't Forget.
Also some memorable mention: Andreas Schätz from german band Don't Drop The Sword. He has similar voice to Hansi from Blind Guardian, and it sounds really great. I recommend their EP "The Wild Hunt". It has mix with some harsh and deep vocals in the combination of the clean power ones!
And I'm glad you mentioned Michael Kiske and Tony Kakko. These two are truly gems!

Well, Dan, it's difficult to say. Everyone has some preferences. I must agree with you about Steve Perry, it's one of my favorites. I love the voice of Floor Jansen and Darren Hayes, but also the voice of Klaus Mine. They sing differently, but, they sing well, and so does you! By the way, I'm brazilian. And I love to sing foreigner songs since I was a child.

I'm so glad you mentioned Tony Kakko! He's my favourite singer ever and the reason I started learning distortion at 14 and metal screams at 16. (My coach was unsettled, but agreed to get me started.) My entire family is... not a fan of his singing voice, to say the least. (Why is he so WHINY? Maybe if you didn't listen to this all the time you'd whine less!) I think his vocal tone is amazing and his screaming is unbelievable, and I'm glad to have someone my family actually considers a good singer (you) back me up.
The only other singer I recommend so highly is Floor Jansen, the current frontwoman of Nightwish. She moves so effortlessly between every genre- she makes rap fans like metal, metal fans like pop, and pop fans like opera. Every song she sings becomes better for her singing it. She has such amazing control on everything from operatic vocals to growling and screaming.
