    Hi Dji team thank you for sharing some tips. We appreciate it. I was wondering if someone from the team can assist my issue?
    I was droning today and my drone ( Dji Mavic Pro ) got hit by a small mountain rock not a hard hit, but light hit on the back . Now it won’t fly it’s says “ check app” And SYS warning.
    In addition I believe it also said “ disconnected And GPS Isn't working. Do I need to re calibrate? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you- C

      Hi Chase Star , I never saw this before and yes it's three years late but it seems like you never got an answer to your question , any luck with your problem ? Also , I am thinking that your GPS cable that leads from your GPS Module is disconnected....

    When I plug in the controller in to USB. The computer connects it but that all. No screen as yours popped us. Nothing so this is a bummer.

    my controller from the mavic pro 2 isnt recornized if i plugged via ubs to the pc it sasy battery is full i push connect button DJi assistant 2 no reaction. also not via the app in android . what can i do to update the controller.

      Hi Franky, just to verify, the RC was not recognized by the DJI Assistant 2 and you can't connect the RC with the mobile device, but the RC can be charged when it is connected with the PC, right?
      For the PC connecting issue, please check if the driver is installed successfully, you can refer to install the driver, www.dropbox.com/s/1eawrbf1fo60e6j/DriversTS_DJIAssist2.pdf?dl=0. Or you can also try another USB connecting cable, please ensure that you are using the latest DJI Assistant 2 v2.0.4 for Mavic 2 Pro as well.
      For the DJI GO 4 app connecting problem, please remove the left cable and try to use your own connecting cable, plug it into the bottom port for connecting. If that doesn't help, please tell us the mobile device you are using, you may try another mobile device.
      Once the PC or mobile device connected normally, you can check for update.

      Hi there. Please follow the following steps to precheck:
      1. Observe whether the overall appearance of the battery is damaged or bulging and whether the charging port is abnormal;
      2. Press the power button to see if the battery LED1 is always on or flashing or if the battery cannot be powered off.
      3. Press the power button once and see if the battery LED 2 and LED 3 are always on or flashing and the battery cannot be turned off.
      4. Please check if the battery LED light will light up or not after a long time of charging, press the power button to see if the LED lights up or not.
      5. If you have other batteries, could you please confirm if it is charged normally with this charger or not?
      If the LED does not light up, which indicates that the battery has been damaged; please send it back for testing.

    Where is the white cable to connect the controller with my mac??? Can't find it in the newly bought box

      Hi Tobias, the Mavic Pro has a black micro USB cable which can connect the Drone or the RC to the computer, the white cable on the tutorial is not included on the package. Please use the same USB cable to connect the RC and Mac. Thank you.

    Mine just stays at the USB waiting to connect screen. I've tried different cords, computers, turning off firewall, and driver signature enforcement to no avail.

      You need to hold down on the power on the dji and then quickly tap it once for it to go into usb mode. Then restart the software.

    I wanted to upgrade my Mavic Pro with the latest firmware...is it no longer supported by DJI?
    If not, what can I expect performance-wise from my Mavic Pro?...I'm also using it with a Crystal Sky

    My DJI assistant 2 is being blocked by something in my computer. I can't see it listed in the Windows 10 to release it and Malwarebites doesn't show it either so what's blocking it and how do I fix it?

      DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic Pro can be downloaded from www.dji.com/ca/mavic/info#downloads
      And DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic 2 Pro is downloaded at www.dji.com/ca/mavic-2/info#downloads

    Hi. I have tried everything but I cannot see the same side panel on dji assistant 2 so I cant do anything with it. I cannot get DJI go 4 to recognise the aircraft either. I would really appreciate some advice because I cannot connect to the aircraft at all. I hope there is a fix for this. Thank you.

      Hi. Thank you for your quick response. I have the latest dji go 4 app but it simply does not see the aircraft at all. I try to update firmware but it just says connect aircraft. I have plugged it in every way possible but nothing changes. Maybe it needs repairing, although it has not been damaged at all to my knowledge. I imagine that I am doing something wrong. The SD card slot has a red light, I tried to link this again. I thought at one moment that it had connected when the RC changed to alti mode??? but it obviously did not continue to be connected and returned to the previous state.       Hi. There was no error message, just a disconnected message. When I open the assistant 2 on the laptop, there is no sidebar at all and it doesnt recognise the aircraft. I have tried different leads as it doesnt it seem to recognise being imput into the USB slot on the laptop. Usually there is a device added signal on windows, but nothing. All the time the aircraft is flashing a yellow light on its tail light.@@DJISupportGlobal

      ​@@nigvause7630 Please re-install DJI Assistant 2 via www.dji.com/global/downloads/softwares/dji-assistant-2-consumer-drones-series, and kindly follow the guidelines below and keep us posted. If the issue still persists, please send back the device for further analysis and diagnosis.
      1. Make sure to download the correct DJI Assistant 2 software.
      2. Make sure the connected device (remote controller or drone) is powered on.
      3. Reinstall the DJI Assistant 2 software via www.dji.com/global/downloads/products/mavic.
      4. Turn off the firewall.
      5. Replace the USB cable connected to the unit and PC. (For those PCs with a C port only, please use type-C to type-C rather than OTG+type-C.)
      6. Install the driver manually. Here are the steps: (This step is only for Windows.)
      ① Unplug and plug in the USB cable, or use another USB cable. --> In WIN7 or a later system, turn off the antivirus program on the computer. Reinstall DJI Assistant 2. Manually re-install the driver.
      ② Right-click “My Computer” --> “Administration” --> “Device Manager” and check the drivers that should be installed in Windows (as shown in the figure).

    The downward vision position system on the aircraft is giving an error. I connected it to the DJI Assistant 2 (Mavic Pro) but it is not detecting the aircraft. I am logged in but it flashes how to connect the Inspire 2. I have used two different USB cables and two different ports on Alienware 17 R4 laptop but it is simply not detecting the aircraft when followed instructions as shown in your video on TH-cam.

      Hi ZILL, if the aircraft is not detected by the PC, please ensure that the drone is already power on when connecting the PC, please also try to connect another PC if it doesn't work. If the issue persists, we may suggest sending the drone in to check the connecting port on the drone.

    To calibtate the imu is it possible if the upgrade is not done it will be impossible to calibrate IMU

      I know this is late but try formatting your sd card in dji go app. If that doesn't work contact dji and ask if there are any known bugs in the firmware. You may need do downgrade the firmware on the drone and/or controller.

    hello dji support i upgraded my controller perfectly when the time comes of drone my drone didnt get connected with it. i have been trying since 4 days to connect drone with dji assistant 2 but it is not being connected. nothing comes in the dji assistant when i connect it with my pc. please help. and my remote is also not getting linked with the drone and i thought upgrading but drone is not responding well. help.       Hi Rahul, may we confirm the DJI Assistant 2 version that you are running on your computer? If it is not DJI Assistant 2 v1.2.5, please try to reinstall the Assistant 2 from the official website www.dji.com/mavic/info#downloads and connect again.
      Please also try to disable Signed Driver Enforcement, or try another computer if it is convenient. Please keep us updated if the issue persists, you can contact us at www.dji.com/support.

    Some videos show how to upgrade the firmware without connecting the cable to the drone, just to the remote, and the remote is connected to the drone using wifi.
    What's the best method?

      You can update the RC and aircraft separately or together, they are complementary. BTW, the drone and RC can be connected by linking RC, instead of WiFi, you can refer to this tutorial video for upgrade.

    After trying to update the firmware and it failed multiple times, the RC is completely non-responsive I've tried updating it using the DJI go 4 app and DJI assistant 2 on multiple mobile phones and laptops, and multiple USB cables and it still says "connecting" without responding.

    this company is seriously messed up. they need some real competition. theres no way why I should have a brand new drone that doesnt work properly right out of the box. the obstacle avoidance does not work, i tried updating both the controller and the drone and that does not hep anything. the assistant 2 app doesnt allow me to get past step 3 of the tutorial of the calibration process. like wtf.

      Sorry to read on this, please try to calibrate the IMU in the APP, if the issue persists, please try to restore Factory Default via DJI Assistant 2 (please export the important data before restoring).

    DJI you are the most frustrating company, I'll say it again please make your software where it's user friendly. I've been trying to get this Assistant 2 to work for over any hour now. I just can't with this company.

      GoGettemWorld TV, we are sorry to know your troubles. The issue is that the drone/RC can't connect to DJI Assistant 2, right? May we know if the PC has a reaction when you plug the drone/RC into it? If no, please try a different connecting cable, or try another port on the PC.
      If it has a reaction, please try to disable the signed driver enforcement, check if the driver is installed properly. And please ensure that you'd downloaded the latest DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic Pro from www.dji.com/mavic/downloads.
      If the issue persists, could you please try to update by the mobile device? Or you may try another PC for connecting. Thank you.

I can see it in the downloads folder ... i install it / Horndis as well ... restart the MAC ... but is the ASSistant supposed to appear IN th Applications folder ??? i DON'T see it !! Or does it just initiate when you plug the drone ?

    My controller screams with the beeper when I turn it on and it wont connect to the assistant.

      Hi Lenny, we are sorry to hear your trouble. May we know if you are able to connect the DJI GO 4 and the controller? If yes, please try to calibrate the controller first, and make sure that the controller has enough power. Besides, please check if there is a need to update or refresh the firmware.
      For connecting the controller and the DJI Assistant 2, please check if the driver has been installed properly, you can try to reinstall the DJI Assistant 2 www.dji.com/mavic/info#downloads and try to connect again.       @@DJISupportGlobal Thank you for replying :) . Turns out it was that the controller joysticks needed calibrating. If there is anyway down the line of having the app pop up with a message in the center stating ,"Hey! Click here to calibrate your controller joysticks" that would be awesomeness.

      Yes I have uninstalled and installed it 3 times. I have used 5 different cables and each time the computer does make the noise I hear when I connect something to it.

      Hi Viking, just to verify, are you using the latest DJI Assistant 2 1.2.4? In your case, you may also try to disable signed driver enforcement, if the issue persists, you may try to update via DJI GO 4 app th-cam.com/video/uiti4FWh9M0/w-d-xo.html or try a different PC, thank you.

      I have tried many different cables, i disabled my anti virus, I did do the disable signed driver enforcement and have a few times uninstalled/reinstalled DJI assistant. I do the updates from the GO 4 APP because that's the only way it works, and even that a lot of the times is say's 99% complete for thirty minutes, shut it off restart then says it's done

      Hi Coelho, if it stuck at 99% for a long time, we suggest you restart the drone and DJI Assistant 2 and charge again when the battery is full. See if it helps.

    My Samsung galaxy A5 6 used to work perfect. Now it will not connect, just a black screen and I'm sick of it, cant do anything with it. the problems ive had with this drone is a joke, spent more time doing downloads and up grades than time in the air flying. Might as well sell it.

      Hey i totally understand your frustration my s6 and Note 5 used to work until the DJI Go4 app had frequent crashes then started trying almost every fix posted on TH-cam..Am a big android fan however, i learnt very quickly save yourself the extra stress and buy a used Ipad. DJI drones were made to be used with Apple products and not Android..I've had no problems since. i hate this video to date but it's the truth

    it goes fucking slow to download the update... fucking hate it. And i have the fastest internet there is!!! ... so many problems al the time... And sometimes i go for a work. and it wants to update firmware.. and there goes one battery just before i wanted to work. like cmon.. stop update firmware plzzzzz

If the firmware update takes a very long time and there is an error, we suggest that you try to restart the drone and cool it down then upgrade again.       Besides, just to clarify, we always recommend that users upgrade the latest firmware because it's the optimization to the previous one, but that depends on you. If your drone's now performing fine and you don't want to upgrade it, that's okay. Thank you for your attention.

      DJI Support I tried updating my Maverick with a full battery using a bad cigarette lighter plug converter that was bad and it sucked the power out my battery
