When I was younger my sister and me kept listening to one of your older albums (Keep a Private Room Behind the Shop). My favorite song has always been Lights Are on but Nobody's Home. Growing up, I've lost track of many artists and their music. Recently I've tried to bond back with them and stumbled upon this album. I didn't recognise the song right away. When I did, this new version woke so many happy childhood memories I just started crying tears of joy on the bus I was taking home.
There's this happy nostalgia that's always present in your music. It touches me right to the heart.

Just discovered Tom Rosenthal a few days ago from a Danny MacAskill video. Been listening to his music ever since. Why have I not heard this before.

Been sleeping to this album for 2 years. I sleep to songs that are calming, but that I know the words to.
Reciting the words in my head stops anxious thoughts creeping in, which used to spiral into panic attacks that took too many of my nights.
Thank you for the songs that we dance to, laugh about, and bop to, but also for these songs which bring peace and rest.

I am a very anxious person on a daily basis, it's been almost a year since I discovered Tom Rosenthal and now, when I'm stressed, I listen to his music. It may sound silly, but I feel like every music comforts me like a big hug.

I don't know if you'll read this comment or not, but I really want to say thank you. One day I happened to listen to your music on TH-cam. At first I was fascinated by the sweet melody and interesting lyrics. Then I was fascinated by the peaceful nature and love-filled video. I can smell freshly baked cookies in your song. I also can hear the laughter of little kids even though there's no laughter in your song. And most of all, as a Korean, your song tastes like Samgyetang. It's a healthy and delicious chicken soup that even warms your heart. Thank you for letting me finish my tiring day with a smile.
Honestly, the amount of times I went back to songs to listen to them is mad. This is such a wonderful album (and it made it's way to South Africa)!

Today I listened to your music whilst in the tube, in Oslo. I've always seen it as such a sombre place, where everyone sees one another as yet another dodgy person. But today, as I sat there listening to 'Lights are on' all of that changed. The angry faces on people, no longer seemed angry, but sad. And there was some beauty to that sadness. I noticed I began to smile, and it all just seemed like straight out of one of your amazing music videos.
I just wanted to say thank you for those 3 minutes of calmity and happiness, in Oslo, a very grey and cold city at the moment.

Huggin you is probably one of the best songs ive heard in a while. The feeling i get when ever I hear it is beautiful and amazing. While it isnt necessarily a sad song, it kinda carries a sad vibe with it and I love that. Such an amazing song
