When I listen to this, I imagine being in the passenger seat of a car, window rolled down, on a road trip down the coast, and I'm basking in the sun on a winding road alongside the cliffs overlooking the ocean.
All whilst peacefully lost in thought.

when I went to Oregon last year it was insanely gloomy and rainy and perfect. I played this album on repeat and spent my time drinking coffee on the cold beach. it felt like a movie. I love it. I fell in love with cannon beach Oregon

I feel like this album perfectly captures the change from summer to autumn. I live in San Diego, so feullemort and a bit of wind in Novembre is the closest it gets to a weather change. It's like the nostalgia and good times of July are still here, but with a hint of festivity appreciation for family and friends as Christmas draws closer.
The Paper Kites deserve to be much more popular, but at the same time I'm glad their not.

The lead singer sounds uncannily like America's Gerry Beckley, an early seventies soft rock band for you younger folks, and that's quite a compliment.

So there is no Vinyl that was made for this album unfortunately. I think that the only available record for this band is for the album "twelvefour" which is a nice album but I really do think that this particular album would sound great on my record player.
Just managed to buy "States" on CD from the USA.. the others are Download only.. :(

I'm a fan of The Paper Kites, and so far this EP is my favorite among all of their works. I like to put my headphones on at the cafetaria, and some of my friends would ask me what i was listening to and i said "It's The Paper Kites, you gotta listen to it" and so they did and guess what?!? They said the music are awesome, and soon they began downloading the songs lol :)

this is an amasing album, i look through the comments and i see no hate
when listening to this album, I imagine myself sitting on the rough floor of a wooden shelter overlooking the rolling hills. There is a slight breeze, its cloudy. I can feel the heat of my small campfire on my cheek. I smell the aroma of the wild tea cupped in my hands. I sip the tea slowly as I admire the beautiful orange-pink sunset, perfectly peaceful in thought and purpose. Just human. Just there.
The first song I heard from the Paper Kites was Willow Tree March, and then I got curious because I really liked it, and I found your video. This band is amazing! Thanks for uploading this. :)
