Just a few days ago Floor answered fans' questions and she said "Ever Dream" is the hardest song to sing. I was a little surprised. (I would have guessed Nightwish "Shoemaker" is more difficult. It is from the latest Nightwish album released exactly one year ago, so there is no live performances yet, only the lyric video.)
But "Ever Dream" is one of my favorites.

If you would like to hear the original female vocalist of Nightwish,Tarja Turunen, I suggest you react to the Nightwish rendition of "The Phantom of the Opera" End of an Era concert/DVD. Her operatic style vocals fit the song. The best version I know.

Besides the force of the song and the power and quality of her voice what strikes me most is the density and quantity of the lyrics. Breathing, timing, endurance.... wow!
Don't forget intonation. To do everything that she does vocally and never hit a sour note is truly impressive.

Aunque supongo que la siguiente que harás será de Floor en solitario, creo que ya estás preparada para los grandes de Nightwish (aparte de Ghost Love Score). Primero, The Poet and the Pendulum, una historia en cinco actos sobre la caída en la depresión y en el agujero emocional que le supuso al compositor Tuomas, despedir a la primera cantante, Tarja. O la otra grande, The greatest show on earth, una canción inspirada en el libro de igual nombre de Richard Dawkins, sobre la evolución de la vida. Disfrutarás de ambas (y puede que te emocionen un poquito)

Please know this about Floor Jansen. Fans of hers adore her so much not just for her talent but for what she has been through in her musical career. She had been waiting for THIS MOMENT - this very concert, Wacken 2013, all her life. It was her biggest audience ever, for one thing. Another thing is, she was actually a replacement singer on this tour!! Yes! Nightwish called on her to replace a previous singer who wasn't working out. But they had to finish their world tour. This concert was Floor's first-ever recording with Nightwish too. She had actually not even been in a band in 2012, due to her suffering a nervous breakdown. At Wacken 2013, the pressure could have been too much. But she delivered this masterful performance, I know you saw Ghost Love Score from another show, you really should see her at Wacken doing that one. She's just amazing.
Also see her performances at Beste Zangers TV show. Oh, I think you will love her singing Que Se Siente - in spanish!
You need more Nightwish. ROMANTICIDE from same concert. This one will blow you away

Nightwish Army Chicago Brigade checking in. This may be the best reaction to Storytime that I have ever seen. My understanding of Spanish is somewhat limited, but I did not need the translation because your face said everything! May I suggest two songs of Nightwish in particular. The first is The Islander from the Tampere concert 2015. This features Marko singing solo. The second is I want my tears back from the Buenos Aires concert. Although the sound is not as clear as the version in Wacken, you get to see Floor dancing around the stage and doing her impression of an Irish Jig and that is more than worth it!!!

Buen día Ceci, muchas gracias por el vídeo, me encantan tus reacciones, Floor es increíble hay tanto que ver de ella, cantar areas de opera, el show Beste Zangers, donde canta diferentes estilos y una versión del fantasma de la Opera, utilizar guturales como recurso vocal,los covers de canciones de su canal, hasta ahorita Adagio de Lara Fabián es el más increíble para mí gusto y si te gusta la banda como tal, Toumas que es el compositor y tecladista tiene composiciones geniales a la altura de las piezas maestras

Ceci, cuando puedas en verdad te recomiendo 1000% que los escuches en vivo, son impactantes, en verdad cuando fui a verlos, la energía que te transmiten, no solo Floor, cada uno es un boom y el teatro aquí en donde se presentaron en Ciudad de México, se cimbraba todo el piso porque todo el mundo brincaba, coreaba, gritábamos, en verdad son extraordinarios. There can only be one on the throne. Spectacle. Stage performance, energy, camera, audience, performers, stage, atmosphere, recording angles, live performance ... This is the biggest and best performance of a song, ever performed. I’m not biased, because I love Nightwish, but it’s, the only and true truth. I respect music and the right things and I’m always realistic. There is no performance better than this. It was never made like that. Kudos to both the Ghost love score and the Bohemia Rhapsody, Beatles, Iron Maiden, other bands and performers. Let someone show me a better performance than this I will sprinkle myself with ashes. Perfection does not exist, but if we could measure something with perfection, then this is it. Something like this has never been seen anywhere. Nothing is accidental. There are no coincidences, including the joining of Floor Jansen to the Nightwish group. It had to be that way, because it was judged that way, just so that this would turn out like this. That is why this is unique and above all performances. Refined to the smallest detail. Top, tops.
