I would HIGHLY recommend reading the lyrics while listening to Polaris. Their lyrics are so damn good. I listened to the whole album a second time while reading the lyrics and couldn't stop crying with certain parts (especially during the bridge to Masochist). They're sooooooooooo damn good.

I’ve learned to treat vocalist as an instrument and determine if they harmonize or overpower the rest of the band.
They use 7 and 6 strings, this song is on a 7 in drop g#. Ryan Siew is one of the guitarist he's sick, used to cover Periphery songs on youtube back a while ago.

I've only been to two concerts ever and ironically wage war was performing at both. I discovered them at knotfest and they are badass so you guys should react to a few of their songs
No one ever understands everything they say, I can guarantee (as a metal head) hardly anyone knows what is said, but In saying that, you appreciate the instrumental and than the lyrics that go with it 🤷🏼♂️
Maybe try bringing up the lyrics and reading through if you struggle to interpret the screams . Pray for Rain or All of This Fleeting would be a couple of good songs of theirs to react to

Masochist is something that you would enjoy alot more I believe. And Hypermania as well as Pray For Rain or Lucid are great as well.
