My heart is breaking for everyone there. All I can do is pray, and try to make people outside of Kenya aware. My thoughts are with you.
These taxes will also affect Uganda as Uganda is landlocked and depends on Kenya in several ways. So Uganda's should wake up
The Kenya financial problems are generally an example of many African countries. Debt on one hand, and policies to hike taxes to pay off the debt, which eventually will bring many people into poverty and starvation.

The government should close the entire social media and ban all journalists for external media until the protest is settled, because social medias and journalists for external medias only can aggravate the issues
Ruto = ferocious criminal
Hiking taxes should never be the way to secure revenues to pay national debts. Most African countries are in huge debts. They cutting down spending on government people. Eliminate unnecessary purchases of luxury vehicles for government officials. Cut down on overseas travels by a slew of reps when only 1 person could travel and handle the matter. Cut out unnecessary allowances, or simply eliminate it all. Government officials already get high salaries, why give them allowances. In short, do what Magufuli did. He was president but could be seen riding public transportation. He cleaned streets. He cut spending on over seas travels and booted out corrupt hospital execs. It's the flashy extravagant spending of most African leaders and governments that break the back of their citizens in poverty and short life expectancy. And then most look out to western developed countries for money not realizing those western countries are fiscally conservative and sacrificed a lot to invest in their development and youth and businesses over the years instead of embezzling public funds or being corrupt all day long.
Can you explain what Alliance Fleuve Congo is? Who is cornelle Nanga? You allowed him to found that rebellion at Nairobi on the soil of the Republic of Kenya intending to create hima tutsi empire. Shame on you. Pay what you did against the DRCongo people.
