Additional Lost Zone Tip: Beware of Iron Thorns ex. Based on what their board state is, they have a two pronged threat of Thorns and Greninja, so Turo your Klefki accordingly. If you Turo your Klefki too early, they can throw down a Thorns and KO your Flutter Mane, leaving you no option to accelerate Energy. If you Turo the Klefki, try to preload 2-3 energy on your Garde ex to give you an attacking option if Thorns comes out. You can also just not Turo the Klefki, but this does leave you open to a potential Moonlight Shuriken, but they need one more card to pull that combo off vs the Thorns play. Question about the Lugia Matchup: What’s the best course of action against the low Cinccino build with Drapion and Wyrdeer? Using Gardevoir as an attacker in this matchup is worrisome if they pull off either of this big bombers. Maybe Temple/Hammer + Iono to deny Gift Energy gifting them more options? Would love to hear your thoughts.
I think that version is better vs gardy since they can attack with hands after an enhanced hammer. You def want to tech in a Sinnoh if you expect this mu since your best play is to try to brick them late game with Iono and ko hands.
@@Aztre40 against Miraidon, push klefki early and hope that it slows them down enough if you go first. If you go second, just tm evo, and you have to respond KO hands after they knock you out. Against cpao, you’re game plan is just going to be stamp+counter catcher Bax, and scream tail Bib. If they don’t find an out, you basically just win on the spot by killing baxcallibur.
as a newer player who's been playing Gardevoir this video is extremely useful! ive went with Mimikyu over Cresselia in my personal decklist since it is pretty much as disruptive vs Pult if i have at least one Munkidori out, and Mimikyu absolutely *dumpsters* Bolt and helps a ton vs Chein Pao, Gardevoir really does feel like one of the easiest decks to built with in how you can just throw specific techs in to counter different MUs you struggle with and is still extremely powerful for MUs where you dont struggle. Wouldve loved to see some mention of Double Munki vs Basic Pokémon, with Mane out you can KO anything on the opponents bench with 80 HP or less (even with Manaphy out!) while still hitting active for 90 *and* distrupting abilities for the opponent's active. Even single Munki + Mane can KO Pidgeys with very minimal commitment which can help either skew the prize trade or just win you a game that your opponent thought was in the bag. Will defo be referencing this video in future though! Thank you!
Thank you for this vid. These types of videos are amazing and I think we all appreciate this type of teaching. Wondering if you could drop a couple sentences regarding the Charizard match up? I know that deck is dropping in popularity but I’m assuming that with the rise in Gardevoir that it’ll rebound soon (I’d not be shocked to see it as the 2nd /3rd most popular at worlds).
Fantastic video. Thanks for making this. How do you feel about Pal Pad in the list? I've been running it for a bit and it gives the same benefit of running two Turo and it also helps with only having the 1 copy of Boss.
Great video!! These are the types of tutorials I need!! Gardevoir has been one of my favorite decks for a while but I never know how to play it properly. This video helps immensely!! Question: What is the optimal board state against a stall deck???
@LucasGondim4night you can't be stall trapped, if they cc klefki or fluttermane you just retreat. If they cc ralts just use teleportation burst to switch back into gardevoir, the 10 damage sets for the 1hko with gardevoir if they play big charm. Just attack only with gardevoir. And if they play fan teleportation burst into klefki and use joust to discard the tool
Great content Gab! What do you think about TM Devo? I have been using your same 60 but devo over 2nd turo, helping a lot vs chari, draga, control, chien and even vs grade in some cases.
I'd love to see your advice on the Regidrago matchup. It's been giving me a ton of trouble lately. It sets up turn 2 Phantom Dive more consistently than Dragapult, and doesn't have small pokemon to target with Cressalia. They also usually get a gust while setting up so that they're first attack is taking out a Kirlia. Sometimes I can win by just getting lucky enough to get a turn 2 Drifloon KO and they can't set up a new Regidrago, but other than that I just try to play the early game sort of like Dragapult, using Cressalia and Munki to remove damage. Do you have any more specific advice? I could really use it.
I'm at 61 cards that I like, and I'm wondering if 1 super rod is enough or if perhaps only running 1 stadium is sufficient. Only other card I can see cutting is the 1 Boss's Orders. I understand it's hard to make a recommendation without the full list, but I'm more interested in which of those stated cards are the most unnecessary.
Hey, a friend of mine recommended me your channel and said you were very helpful. Since this video is a bit older now and the meta has changed quite a bit, I'm curious if you still find enhanced part of the core of the deck? Thank you in advance if I hear back
Fezendipiti TWM 096 has a move that allows it to deal 30 damage per energy and has 120hp. Whats stopping people from using that compared to the driftoon?
Because drifloon can cause more damage, while fezendipiti can cause 60 damage with two energy, drifloom can cause 120 with two energy after it gets acelerated with gardevoir
i was thinking to not play greninja , but sometimes helps you , and i'm runninng 1 devo because against dragapuilt or charizard is so so so strong , what u think about -1 turum +1 devolution? cause i think zard matchups are more scary than dragapult
Hey!! I just found your channel this video is amazing! Do you have a video like this for the new turbo lost zone?? My 7 year old's been playing it and doing really well but he's still struggles against Lugia and Gardevoir tips like this would be amazing for him
Theres someone play a single prize roaring moon deck at my locals and they set up faster than me so I can't figure out how to beat them since they are always ahead on prizing
10 dmg counters = 100 dmg to drifloon with bravey charm leaving your drifloon with 20 hp out of 120hp. 100x3 = 300 dmg. therefore attach 5 psychic energy to it
I feel so bad at Pokemon, I play it and always feel like I’m either unlucky or doing something wrong, I want like to talk to someone while I play so they can tell me if I did something wrong or I’m the most unlucky player in the world
