Nicely done and maintained and also well used! Its so easy to tell a genuine tourer's bike from a pseudo vlogger bikers. Kyff's Customs are genuinely excellent at what they do and I blindly rely on them for the maintenance of my Versys as well. I also completely agree on the top box experience. I prefer saddle bags (stil in this day and age) over hard luggage and a top box is a no no for me regardless of how convenient and the unrivalled practicality it offers.
This video was all about the changes you made to the motorcycle. Could you make another video, covering your riding experience in various conditions (city, highways, hilly roads, etc), problems you've had with rains, rusting, availability of parts, etc? Thank you, this one was very nicely done.
Thank you so much for this excellent video review of your beautiful motorcycle ! I am looking into this model for long distance riding and motocamping . Hello from Ohio! Just subscribed. Great channel !
Great video - many thanks for it. Any possibility of further info on your chain oiler system? I checked your other videos and there's one on the scott oiler system but yours doesn't look like that. Thanks
Subcribed! To change the handlebars, did you have to change the cables? Also is there a versys group that i can join please, i just bought one and would love to actually understand every feature and mods to make it customised as per my liking. Thank you
You have a brilliant fuel economy. My Versys 650 has a very poor fuel economy 12km/L currently. Any advice you can give me? Bought mine about 3 months ago with 32,000 km mileage. With the poor fuel efficiency, I made the following Changes: air filter, engine oil (fully synthetic 10w 40), spark plug, coolant, throttle body cleaned. After all the is change, Efficiency improved to 12km/L. Also changed the stock exhaust to a power exhausted. No check engine light or no other warning light on the dash lcd. Previous owner had parked the bike for years with use. Any advise your can give?
@@oseiokyere bad milage can be due to multiple reasons, 1. Check for inlet manifold pressure sensor pipe, if it's leaking than you will not get proper fueling 2. Check the clutch plates, if they are slipping you will get bad milage 3. Spark plugs 4. Fuel leakage
How has been the maintenance, service, service cost, roadside assistance, warranty issues any ?, availability of spares ?, have you used Kawasaki spares only or after market products…..did they extend K-care beyond 50K Kms ?…. How is the quality of service offered by service team, or did you get it from external agents ?
Warranty is approved most of the time.. service has to be at ASC during warranty period. Parts are easily available unless they are not the usual running ones. Quality of service is ok if you know what you want and how to get that done, or else it's just like any other service. I have been servicing my bike my self post 3 Rd service at the ASC. Rarely I do go out to my trusted workshops.
Take them out and go the bosch or any other service centre. They will put it the cleaning machine and return to you after a days time. This includes change of filter as well.
Non. As long as it is not inlet. The bike will not stall. Just ensure the crossing is not deep enough to cover throttle bodies. Usually they are sealed unit but we never know.
Hi sir.. Is it a gud choice to choose the versys 650 now for long touring now in 2024? My brother is planning for an upgrade from his Dominar 400..please suggest. Because he ia confused between triumph tiger 660 new one, versys 650 new one or an used tiger 800..
You should compare the cost and features any of these bikes come with, i would personally prefer a Jap bike over a European bike. Jap reliablity is the best.
In the Himalayan bike, low-end torque is very good, even in fourth gear during heavy traffic conditions. Can you please tell me about this bike's exact low-end torque in heavy traffic conditions?
Low end torque is very good but being a powerful engine your second gear will do most of the job by Itself. From 5 kmph to 70kmph you won't have to shift gears. Besides you are trying to compare apples to oranges. so it would be only fair to compare similar bikes like cb500x or tiger 660 etc.
I have a Versys 650 from 2018, I am wondering how accurate is your fuel gauge? because it can happen to me that it shows me the reserve and when I fill in the fuel, it can only fit maybe 10 liters inside, and the indicator will not be completely filled, do you have any advice? or is it simply a problem in the fuel indicator? thank you
My fuel gauge was very accurate. Last bar blinking would mean 4 ltrs left in tank. Each bar was representing 3 ltrs. Now unfortunately my gauge has gone bad and it doesn't show anything. Though I know the mileage. I calculate full tank to distance range and fuel up at 350 kms. I generally get 26-27 on Highway.
@@bikerbakertravels Yeah I also follow the rule that a full tank is 350 km, it seems to me that I will continue like this until it gets worse 😁 in any case, thanks for the answer!
@@titan0395Well, even though i can't give you any explaination on the issue, i can tell you that i've the same issue on my 2018 Versys 650. Always about 10 - 11 litres filled after the reserve starts flashing...🤭A bit frustrating yes.. hehe
