    Hi, Jim,
I'm a mexican letterpress printer (Vandercook SP 25). I'm interested to buy an equipment similar as you use. Could you give information about the provider?
    Thanks!

how do you get the photopoly to stick to the mounting rubber/magnet?

We purchased the photopolymer materials from a vendor called Box Car Press. They sell a double sided sticky tape that sticks to the Photo polymer and can then be stuck to the base. I did not give much detail, but look at 01:23. You can see that we burnished the tape and peeled off the backing so it can be placed on the plate.

@@jaescala Beautiful. I just ordered some unexposed scraps to get our Jet platemaker calibrated. Wasn't sure if their adhesive would hold up to the wash, good to know! Thanks 🙏🏼

@@nwitcher9596 I found them to be very helpful if you have questions about getting set up. Enjoy.

Just to be clear, you do not apply the adhesive backing until after the plate has been washed and is dry.

What's the name/brand of the machine you're using? Thank you.

Thank your writing. My department where I was a teacher (I am retired now) bought that machine many years ago. I do not think that model is currently made. However, the supplier that we used was Box Car Press in Syracuse, New York. They should be able to assist you with available units. While I have never used home made versions to develop photopolymer plates, many people have videos on TH-cam that may be helpful. These units can be expensive. I wish you the best! -Jim
