There are only a few thing I would change. The only one that means the most is instead of the 5500xt, I would have done the rx 6600 instead oof the 5500xt. It is 67 percent faster for only 20 dollars more new
While that is true, I was already over budget, I was thinking about just spending the extra $20 but I wanted to try and stay true to the goal. I dont want to be one of these youtubers that say something is $600 but it was actually $650+. at least going over $12 isnt that bad

yeah I was really thinking about that but I was already over budget by $12 (which I was kind of okay with) but going over $32 was something I wasn't okay with.

@@Chief_Malo Any issues mixing AMD and intel is a myth of the past. However, having an AMD CPU and GPU gives some additional benefits for any combination where the AMD CPU using the Zen 3 or 4 architecture.

For one my pc is only $594 ($612 including windows) not anywhere close to $650. Might be best if you read through the comments so you can see why I did what I did, I’m not in any way saying you are wrong but the build you are describing takes away all my white & rgb aesthetics, while cutting in half the storage space, I will never recommend under 1TB for a gaming pc. If you watched my video not only was my budget $600 but I also challenged myself to an all white build. Also I know you are estimating prices but some of your prices are kind of off. I am not buying anything components that are off brand and known to fail just because it’s cheap.
this build is the real example of poor money management. You could've saved 21 bucks if you didnt go with the aftermarket cpu cooler since none of the 150 dollar or less chips will run at a high enough temperature that you need to use a better cooler. Also, if you wanted to go with a white ram you could've got timetec pinnacle kit for 35 bucks and save another 16 bucks right there. Also there is probably no need for such expensive ssd since these motherboards dont support high enough data transfer and you litterally could've bought something like teamgroup t33 1tb nvme for 33 dollars and save whppping 57 dollars. And also, for the psu u could've gone with apevia prestige for 50 bucks instead of evga for 60. Although these are small corrections in the build, they save you over a hundred dollars which you could've spent to buy better cpu and gpu. My suggestion for the cpu is to go with ryzen 5 3600 for 62 dollars on aliexpress which is around the same price like r3 4100, but it has 2 lore cores and performs much better in both productive work and gaming. that 110 bucks you saved by changing certain components couldve got you rx 6700xt used and that gpu is goated for 1440p gaming. One single flaw with the build i suggested is that cpu bottlenecks gpu a bit, but it wont be a big problem since i dont think any professional video editor or 3d modeler will go with 600 dollar build, and you can go 1440p gaming with this build
I completely understand what you are saying but you kind of answered the reason I did what I did, “it will bottleneck the gpu”. Why spend over 1/3 if the price of the pc on the gpu just for it to not be used properly. This is already a budget build the last thing I want is to have the gpu bottlenecked. Also like I said in my video I never recommend going under 1TB for a gaming PC, yes I could of went with a Kingston ssd but since this motherboard didn’t have a cover the blue card wouldn’t have looked good. I’m also not going with any ssd’s that are known to fail. I’m also going for an all white build and not just buying the “cheapest” thing I can. The ram cards you suggested aren’t rgb and finding the white rgb one is 51.99 (Amazon) which is the same price I paid. Same with the psu, and it is commonly known to avoid apevia. You say poor money management but I’ve looked up everything you listed and the price for the full pc is more expensive. I never said that I was going with the cheapest pc, my attention was, what can I buy with $600 that will have a decent gpu and look best. I put a lot of research into this build and maybe you should do the same with the build you just suggested and not just throw random parts in a pc so you can spend all your money on a gpu? Which like you said, you wouldn’t even be able to fully use
If you're title is going to claim "Best" I have some (reasonably harsh) critiques for you AND a better build guide for the given the $600 budget below. Good things: The case and mobo. • The Montech Air 100 is a great budget case. Easy to work in, looks good, and has good airflow. Plus on a budget having 3 intake and 1 exhaust argb fan included is awesome! • That mobo is a great budget AM4 board with built in wifi and bluetooth. • The overall look is decent. Bad things: Everything else. It wasn't so much the parts themselves as it was the parts you picked given the budget, except for the PSU and GPU which are awful. • The R3 4100 is objectively a bad CPU in terms of price to performance and lacks features you would want for gaming, including PCIE gen 4 support. It wasn't good at release and it isn't better now. • The PSU cooler is unnecessary for the R3 4100 - you could have used a stock cooler without issue OR a much less expensive CPU cooler. • The SSD you got is severely overpriced for the budget and you could have picked up a quality SSD for 2/3 the price. • The ram is over priced given the budget. • The GPU AWFUL price to performance. Coming in at $180, it gives the same performance as an RX 580 8Gb, which can be found secondhand for $40-60 or new for about $70-80. • The PSU is an F-tier PSU, meaning it's missing a lot of basic safety compliances. You basically have a fire hazard. All PSU manufacturers make good and bad PSUs. Better build: Total $594.49 (w/ Windows License $18.52 total is $613.01) Highlights: Better GPU (65-75% increase over the 5500XT, better CPU with PCIE Gen 4 support, still has 1tb nvme ssd, 16Gb 3200mhz ram, mobo with wifi and bluetooh with decent bios, quality C-tier PSU, and the whole build will look good. • All white build except the mobo (just like your build)
• Better CPU, GPU, and PSU
• All white RTX 2060 Super 8Gb, which offers a 70-75% increase in raw performance and 4 more Gb of VRAM
1. You are using today’s prices for a build that was bought in December 2023
2. No WiFi, no Bluetooth
3. Apeiva psu products are known to fail
4. And this is how I know you are just saying things to say it, that gpu isn’t normally that price and you know it, it’s literally going for $220+ which would put that pc over $600 without windows (over $620 with). Once again I’m not denying your PC but it’s always more to it then “oh it’s over priced” so once again im going to say OK.
How can I find the manual online
for which part?
