I watched EUC videos and just had to try it. Ordered an Inmotion V8S. After 20 minutes of holding onto things it started to made sense. 2 hours of practicing and I could ride it to the max tilt-back speeds. I got totally hooked on how fun it is. 1 month later I ordered a Leaperkim Lynx. Was like learning to ride all over again. Fast forward 3 months to now and the V8S is like a toy and the Lynx is just right. Learning is all about motivation and practice. If you love the feeling of being able to zip along without the constraints of 2 wheels and handlebars then just keep practicing. You will get there. Everybody learns at their own pace.
I'm Gen X who has never been able to skate or ski but caught the e-bug last year after getting a Ninebot Max and then upgraded to a performance Dualtron (which is fabulous fun!) and have been EUC curious ever since. I really wanted something compact and practical, so I immediately ordered the E20 when I saw it go on sale. It took me about three hours practice over four days on an artificial turf field to go from not being able to stand on it to now riding about ten miles a day on the bike paths and sidewalks through town comfortably around people. Especially for the price I couldn't be happier! This now lives in my car as my run around town solution while being really fun and riding it gets lots of attention too.
Im Gen X as well and I got the bug a year ago. I first got my V11 and loved it and now i own 3 Unicycles and an E-Bike. Its fantastic good fun. I have been hit by a couple cars now.
Your advice towards the end, going for mail, step on with one foot and give a little push off with the other got me started and on my way. The kickoff and leaning forward, and the rest is ridiculously easy. Leaving the trolly handle up saves bending over and isn't in the way at all.
😂 I started off with the INMOTION v12 high speed. My dirt bike racing is what made it easy for me because of balance. I got on it first try with a little off the wobbly knees and body for a minute but first time on it I cruised my whole city at 30-35mph. Now I’m addicted the the things and just received my INMOTION v13pro a few days ago. They are so dang fun.
I wouldn't mess with those. Especially the fast ones. I've seen some people get brutal injuries. Also to go fast you're essentially sitting on the wheel so you're about 2 feet off the ground.
That was fun. I'd be just like that dude, pretty wonky to start. Definitely a grass startup. Soft... grass. I might get one! Thx. I want a cam drone too. Film my demise (hehe!!).
Hey, I know this is not related to the vid but I was wondering if I should get this or the mukuta 10+? Or maybe the Yume hawk pro wide or Nami Klima. I would really appreciate it if you could let me know your opinion. 😁 (or maybe pre-order the nanrobot n6 72 Volt.?) Thanks!
Yeah, those two wheeled EUC's are maybe good for confidence in the early learning period, and good for kids, but you have to get a normal EUC pretty fast and unlearn some of the bad habits the two wheeled rig taught you.

ps mine arrived 2 days ago...
You did a good job picking up on it quickly most people I see learning on other videos takes them weeks to just get balanced & going.
Thank you it’s definitely a learner EUC now that I have my center of balance. It’ll be easier on the next one appreciate it.
It's a 2 wheel unicycle. Super easy
it takes time.. when it clicks is the best feeling ever. I learned on a King song 16S.
Same, the 16S was my first wheel. Outgrew it in three months, but didn't get a new wheel for 9 months.
Props to Jordyn I wouldn’t even be able to get on it😂
Teaching your daughter how to ride the electric unicycle that’s cool I bet it’s kinda hard for a 1st timer. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT BRO.😅
It's not his daughter bro. That's his GF lol
Stuff like this makes me wish I was younger. 😂. Those things scare me now.
I'm 80. Just do it!!! Amazing how easy it is to get rolling on this! Wear all safety gear; senior citizens don't bounce back as easy.
You can do it, I'm 61 and been riding since 2015.
In the beginning you need to have a wall to lean against
Pads everywhere except for hands and elbows 🤔
Damn that arch doe your lucky lol I've also been looking into buying one but there's so many
Better than what I can do, I probably couldn’t even stand on it.

That first back and forth hahah 😂 fts
Right haha 😂
What action camera are you using?
She still needs elbow, wrist and hand protection!
I agree this was quite a challenge! You have to be in the zen mood for sure when ya take off! Looks like Ev from Wall-E! It is a cute little Onewheel!
Hey scooter gang I have question what gear do you use and the scooter cuz I work 20 miles from my job I need one one that goes 50per hour
W
Hi, what is the cam you using attached to the helmet at 10:00 ?

This reminds me of the first time i got on a skateboard in 2005-06. I would never be able to keep my balance on that uni.

I don't know why you're wasting your time with that double tire/wheel thing. It's not an EUC.
Ebc
2 wheels is scary enough, never trying something 1 wheel lmao
Well... having two wheels should have made it easier....
You can't lean.
Over 500 miles on my
V12 HT… reaching superpower status

Can you please reply 😁
After a couple of wipeout, i finally mastered it

BangBang scoota gang
Clearly the suggestion that the best way to learn to just jump on it isn’t great, even on a twin wheel “uni” cycle 😂
do u have merch
Yikes. No hand, wrist or elbow protection for a first time EUC rider?
Fuuuuu I’d go bald
Electric Bi Cycle 🤔🤔🤔
