If you'd told me a couple years ago that covid would lead to me watching people paint minis and play tabletop games on youtube, I woulda been surprised. But now the hobbyist addiction is VERY real and there's no turning back! Thanks guys! I absolutely LOVE your content!!!
This was absolutely fantastic, Dave I cant tell how much time you had between getting told to learn the rules and filming but seeing your confidence in them to guide the others thru was top notch.
I've really been looking forward to this video since seeing Jazza paint the minis and it's so cool! The gameplay is super neat and I'm really enjoying watching you all play! If anyone else happens to struggle with Psychosis or other forms of disassociation please know that you're safe and the noises are just the background of the video- don't hesitate to take breaks if you need it!
This is fantastic! I might have to check Lobotomy out. ALL the miniatures look incredible. 1. Can we get some painting tutorials from the TTT team for the Lobotomy miniatures? 2. Can we PLEASE get we get a full playthrough like this for the Space Bears Vs. Tau Kill Team battle report?
This game looks like such a blast! I LOVE the board game videos because it always brings back such nice memories of getting over-excited about them with my own family back before uni! The minis look outstanding, and I really like the character bios/makeups! It's all really clever!
Good to see you having such fun playing it! I think there were only 2 or 3 minor rules missed, but nothing too major, and missing a couple is to be expected on a new game. (Can't recall the others, but I think you missed that when monsters attack someone they get bonus successes for each monster that's already attacked that character this round.)
I really love you guys, and I love your content. I'm only a short ways in, but I can't keep going. There's something about a game that uses mental health like this that feels... gross. Conditions like anxiety and OCD don't make you "insane". As I say, love your work. I just know too many people with mental health struggles to look at this and feel like it's an OK setting. I'll see you in the next one.
I agree with you, I just feel sad. It was a stark contrast between my feelings about these subjects and the joking jolly act of playing a game. Its feels out of place. I just.. it makes light of things doesn’t it? I feel like I’m watching people have fun and joke about something that genuinely makes me sad. Imagine someone playing a game about that darkest hardest moments in my life and making this video. Theres just a lot to unpack about the whole thing that I’d rather not.
I must say the game was fun and I love watching you folks interact together BUT, the music/ SFX was too loud and honestly it would be just as enjoyable without it. Keep being awesome Jazza, Jen and Dave 💕
Q: That looked fun! Aside from the end boss, I didn't really get the feeling that killing things would be too hard, maybe because you all rolled well! Did you get the same feel during the playthrough? Or is that somehow the point of the early game, to have a relatively easy/manageable character build-up before the final baddie shows up?
Before going any further I insist that the person who positioned the poor migraine sufferer just over Jen’s shoulder to be constantly in the shot be given a raise immediately! Well done.
I've not found it any worse than the Arkham Horror card game - being a bit like the health, sanity & resource tokens in that. Many of the tokens are occasional use (to mark when you upgrade a weapon/item or stat) or are used in some scenarios. If you just look at the number of tokens in the game that also includes the tokens to mark things on the board - such as searchable lockers, doors, and walls/breaches. The scenario docs have clear maps showing these tokens highlighted, so they're not too bad to set up.
The background noise/ambiance is really inconsistent volume wise, in the future maybe go for something more “white noisey”? Idk randomly hearing coughing or people talking was distracting 😅 the game itself looks super cool. Having the option to have a mode that is more “simple” would make it more family friendly for people that don’t have experience with RPGs/video game style things. For what it is, it is amazing 🤩
It may be confusion caused because the €79 Admission pledge is the 2nd one listed. The top one is the €199 Madness pledge, so anybody used to seeing pledge options in price order may see the difference 199 and think it's the min.
the ghostly voices could definitely be toned down.... A: not scary or adding to any ambiance B: gets increasingly louder while you guys are talking C: drives a legitimate railroad spike through your brain and makes it difficult to follow along with the game.
Next time maybe a little more focus on the game itself rather than the people playing, dono who you guys are but wanted to see the game. I imagine your audience loves your banter but i just found it to self involved and not enough about the game boards, cards so on. Gave up half way. Sorry
Bro he is in the game its more than just a sponsorship, also it is a Let's Play because they are playing it. Also its a damn board game. Its not like some sort of super computer or something. Its a game, you gotta show it off so people know what it is. Idk what else to tell you other than, just because something is sponsored doesn't mean the product is bad. Try to form your own opinions and don't get mad that someone elses doesn't line up with yours. Yes he is sponsored, yes he is in the game, and its litterally based on artwork he made, so yes he will be a little biased, but its a board game. If you can't look at the mechanics of it and decide if you like it or not, then thats on you not them. Think for your self.
I disagree. They took the time to play the game, not the most lucrative use of their time, in a way folks can judge for themselves whether it might appeal.
Support the Lobotomy II Gamefound Campaign and get the "Jazza Ward" add-on pack now! is.gd/lobotomyjazza (spon)

The music/sound-effects was wayyy too loud in this. but it is a super fun looking game.
+1
Yeahhhh..
Awful loud SFX.
This honestly sounds and looks so cool! I feel like my friends and I would have so much fun playing this!
Board game content, I love it!!! Been hoping you'd play this after you painted the minis.
I think you guys need to paint some more of these pieces - would love to see how the boss guy would turn out
This is fantastic! I might have to check Lobotomy out. ALL the miniatures look incredible.

Robby Boss- Let's shoot the devil out of it.
Jazza- I'm very happy with how that bled out. (Joker laugh)
Leonardo- ......
Also, Praise the Dave!
Im really glad I subscribed! I loved this game and watching you guys play.
Mini painting of all game pieces would be cool.
I really love you guys, and I love your content.

The background effects are a nice touch, but too loud.
I was going to comment that myself.
I must say the game was fun and I love watching you folks interact together BUT, the music/ SFX was too loud and honestly it would be just as enjoyable without it. Keep being awesome Jazza, Jen and Dave 💕
the background music was more of a foreground soundtrack in this video
You know this could be just the players imagination and the monsters are actually doctors
All praise be to the Dave!

SO at 50:30 Jazza was invisible the enemies shouldn't have attacked.
Good catch - but at least they didn't stand a chance ;) lol
@@TabletopTime Jazza so good at everything, that even when he makes mistakes he is still good at it.
That looked fun and very tempting to buy
6:20 i thought libraries are tzeentch stuff but this seems kinda slaaneshi to me. anyways nice game. seems to be great fun
Jenn's nails look really nice. The game looks fun even if I'm not a fan of dungeon crawlers.
any thoughts on painting the hunt master?
Looks like a bit of crazy fun!
Tabletop Time!!!
Hey guys, just wondering when you're gonna vote for the BearForcePun challenge ?
wow loved that i should really try and get it but loved the vid it was great worth not sleeping
Game looks great, I am backing this second KS, only concern I have is all the pills, insanity, etc tiny tokens. Is it a huge upkeep?

You didn’t paint the other minis!!!?!?!? PAINT THEM!
This was soooo fun to watch! Loved it! Can’t wait to see more board game fun! ~Gillzybean 💖
This is the opposite of how my games go lol “oh that’s great!” Mines like “yeah that’s prolly the worst possible thing I could have gotten” lol
I kinda hope the podcast version doesn't have the background music

Can we use these dice on Tabletop Time Roleplay for the end of the campaign? They give better rolls 🤣
Is this made by your game company?????
*chef kiss*
What a cool game
Cool game but minimum backing is almost 200.00 😠.
How so? Base pledge is only 79.
It may be confusion caused because the €79 Admission pledge is the 2nd one listed. The top one is the €199 Madness pledge, so anybody used to seeing pledge options in price order may see the difference 199 and think it's the min.

First
Really quite disappointed that you guys are promoting a game that stigmatises people with severe mental illnesses and treats them like a freak show.
4rth
jesus, someone shave dave! he gettin shaggy
Second lmao!
im 366th like
God, how can you play with unpainted models, dont you know there is no play for mr.grey so paint the models
Next time maybe a little more focus on the game itself rather than the people playing, dono who you guys are but wanted to see the game. I imagine your audience loves your banter but i just found it to self involved and not enough about the game boards, cards so on. Gave up half way. Sorry
This is not a Let's Play! it's a commercial. Sponsored opinions are worthless.
