For anyone who beat radagon and missed his quest line you can still get the sword. Go back to the first invasion area where the reduvia drops, follow the path up past murkwater cave and along the right side of the path will be the nagakiba .

@@imnotnever494 I went home on break yesterday after seeing this video I realized his quest line was unobtainable. While going back to look for him in the murkwater area I see something glowing thanking it was like a golden rune or something. Ends up to be his sword
So even without his quest line, the lore still implies he was invaded and killed. With only his sword left in place

@@eirikfryna6043 you can always start a new game+ and get everything all over again. Or try to go back to the locations I showed on the video and see if there is any loot dropped on the floor, maybe not the poleblade but you could still find the katana

Used the bloodhounds fang all the way up until this point and swapped it out for the poleblade. Went to renala to respec and put a load of points into Arcane and dex, and it's an absolute beast of a weapon!

Towards the end @ the church theres a glitch to get 2 katanas to drop. Before I talked to him I was attacked by one of those dogs and I accidently slashed him. He died and dropped his katana. I looted it and then after his body fades he dropped another one. Lol what luck!

@@yaboimerc4320 I'm not sure I mean in my playthrough I talked to him about one time and at the end of the game I was able to get his armor but I didn't actually kill him though so
If you are just beginning the game and don't have an op weapon to kill the invader run around him until the hunter shows and helps you. My suggestion would be to grab the uchigatana and radagons soreseal prior to that and you will make this fairly easy. Both items are super easy to get.
Uchigatana can easily cheese all npc invaders with unsheathe. Just run away from them and slap them with an unsheathe heavy as they’re running to attack you. They won’t dodge, they’ll get staggered, and you’ll get a chance to do it again immediately.

So if I happened to find him in the first location and hit he wrong button and killed him and got the katana, there is no way for me to get the pole weapon?
FYI, if you met the NPC in the snowy fields before limgrave like I did then he probably won't show up at limgrave at all. I went and fought the first bloody finger and went to the spot the NPC should have been but found the nagakiba instead with no NPC. At the academy there was no summon sign and thus I didn't get the ash of war nor did I invade anyone. He also wasn't at the church however elenora still spawned and I still recieved the polearm. I assume the nagakiba I got was compensation for not getting it at the end from the NPC directly. Hope this helps

Yeah I did everything up to eleanore and I can’t find the damn katana anywhere I have the ash of war and the stuff eleanore drops. I’m salty😭 I reloaded and checked the limgrave location and the murk water cave spot and nothing so I’m not sure where the katana would be

I went to the dude to start the quest and he wasn’t there and I just picked up the katana. Idk what happened to him but it saved me time 😂
I figured it out, if it didn’t work for you you probably didn’t finish the dialogue with him 3 times before leaving after the you assist him in the invasion
Omfg good eye brother I checked and on the map his icon was at main academy gate
(FYI: to anyone his sword will lay at the last spot you talked to him at I found his sword at main academy gate after getting that blooded twin blade weapon)

so if you sequence broke this quest like I did and Yura isn't at any of these places anymore and he isn't at the church, you can find the nagakiba at this spot 3:40 on the ground.
I basically got the reduvia without talking to the quest giver npc at all and then later I found him for the first time in the mountain top of giants, so i missed the quest he wasn't in any of the previous locations anymore. but the invader for eleonora still showed up at the church so I still got all the items.
Nice so basically you got the quest done "differently" and i know why... So, the guy that you found at the mountain of giants it's not Yura, it's sabiri. He posses Yura if you go to this location without doing Yura's quest first and Yura ends up dying by Sabiri. Now, if you had it done like i did mine you will still find sabiri at the mountain of giants with Yura's armor and you can kill him and obtain Yura's armor. Try it for yourself and see if you can still get his armor

Ayoo I’ve beaten like every boss except the final one and Malenia, the Nagakiba was sitting where he would be when you first talk to him. (In case you didn’t have a chance to do the quest)
Hey I found the Moonveil katana it isn't working properly I've met the stat requirements but still can't use it's ability any idea what's going? It's ability just comes off as a normal attacks

hi i want to ask i did it my self and i forgot to talk to yura after the first boss, and head on the another finished him and went to the church, but he wasnt laying there and when i go back to the cave where is the first boss he isnt there anymore, can i fix it somehow?
how could you trade blows with ELEONORAS and able to overwhelmed her? I use +4 uchigatana lvl 70 light loads, but she just chain combo fast attacks me most of the times even though I hit her, and she always back off when I normal attack or use skill... It's frustrating

I don't get it. Whenever I talk to him, he just talks about a dragon. When you kill the dragon, he just tells you where the dragon communion is.
Note that Reduvia and Elanore's poleblade can be obtained completely independent of Yura's quest. Nagakiba can b obtained by simply killing him in the first encounter after he helps with an invader. You do not need to speak to him the first time as shown here.
Im 2 years late but if anyone cant find it because they talked to him in snow area instead of the others. Go to the ploace in limgrave under that thing next to the campfire where the quest starts.

im softlocked from his second half of his questline… i killed the invader in the second church of marika before helping yura’s academy invasion and hes just not there in the church does anybody know any fixes?
Just got back into elden ring and wanted to get the reduvia dagger butt can’t get the invasion to pop honestly don’t know if I already did it but I don’t have the weapon in my inventory 😢 edit: apparently I just didn’t have the invasion and I could do all the other steps

When I go to the second church of marika he isn’t there and I have to fight someone but even after I killed them he wasn’t there does anyone know why?
For some reason I thought you could get the Nagakiba near the start of the game. Had no idea it was in Altus Plateau, although I do remember taking on that red npc at that church, and dying a few times.
So, it is possible to get Nagakiba by either killing yura in the first location... or advancing in the map up to Snow area will trigger the NPC sabriri to talk over Yuras body, which then you can just go and pick up the Katana from last location you found yura, as he is dead.
By doing any of this you only be missing a Ash of War from the quest I believe

if anyone doesnt find yura at the church or cant talk to him anymore after raya lucaria hes long gone unfortunately and someone with his armor called shabri is up at zamor ruins kill him abd you get yuras armor, unfortunately you cannot get the nagakiba after this point which blows because it was for my rl1 playthrough

Found mine near Seaside ruins grace in Limgrave area. Under the old ruins arch by a campfire. If anyone else is struggling to find it, try there.

Damn, I didn’t follow any guides on my first play through but did most of his quest line, I missed the second church of Merika on my blind play through. Went back there after having killed Yura in snow area, there’s no Nagakiba. I guess I have to go ng+
I found Nagakiba near the Sea Side Ruins Grace. In the map there will be an icon that says Finger Hunter Yura, go to that location and item will be there

You have to go to that second gate at the college, but walk past it. Interact with the red thing on the ground. Help Yura. Then go back to the church.

I went to the second church of Marika and was attacked by some guy and didn’t see Yura there. I went to the area at 3:40 to see if the blade was there, it wasn’t there either. I haven’t done anything wrong in the quest I don’t think! Eleonora doesn’t spawn at the church for me either it was someone else
@ArchAngelGamer I found him at 5:30, he didn’t move after exhausting his audio. But after talking to him again, he was at the church

yes basically if your second armament hits enemies they will get the status ailment on your second armament.
