    He's 75 years old people!!! Peter Criss is actually a great drummer and technically sound and amazing!! He just wants to be left alone and retire now, wouldn't you? Lol 🤦
    I do dare anyone to Google old live Kiss materials and tell me he is a fuckin terrible or average drummer? Lol

    Glad to hear some of the late wisdom, they were lucky enough to get to, they outlived the hype/ partying rock n roll lifestyle to reflect and continue on their own, and in their own terms.
    I appreciate the music, i like his solo album, i heard other albums, good stuff, i understand his perspective more. Thanks for the music. the CATMAN rocks!

    Gene and Paul, only ONE CATMAN PETER CRISS!!!

      There's also only ONE Chris Wright! But do you expect your boss to close his company only because you have a 🥃+💉crisis?
      No one calls Eric Singer the "ORIGINAL" Catman.
      But he is the "de facto" Catman.
      I can respect that.

    I'm glad to hear from Peter: Paul had no problem to give him "Black Diamond".
    It was Eddie Kramer's suggestion.
    And Paul agreed.
    To make KISS sound better.
    It's also fair what Peter then said:
    Paul's solo album "Live to Win" is a graet album. From what I heard here I'm not a fan of Peter's solo-album. He should be eternally grateful for the songs they all gave him in KISS💋

    if you find a 'kiss interview' video that's been out for two years and only has 2.5k views, you know it's going to be a peter criss interview.

      But Peter complains about Paul and Gene that they didn't want his material on "Psycho Circus".
      The producer Bruce Fairbairn didn't want it either.
      Peter called the album "Trash! (because I didn't play on it). He's not able to realize that his own song-material was really not good.

      That song was fine. The vocal I’m sorry Peter they should of been remixed or redone or something. It was terrible. I love Peter criss big time but man I just couldn’t listen to it. Man I’m sorry to say it but it is terrible.

      As the late great Neil Pert said, Peter Criss was frickin amazing and fantastic and never hit the drums 🥁 the same way twice!!! Rush opened for Kiss for a year and a half and Neil said he would watch Catman backstage and Peter had the jungle rhythm and jazz filled riffs and unique style and the best damn voice of any drummer ever!!!!

  • @stevencoffman34

    Peter criss was the original drummer true but Eric Carr was a better drummer

    • @stevencoffman34
      @stevencoffman34 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      No Peter was big band eric was more like hard rock

    • @kevinchadler469
      @kevinchadler469 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No he wasn't!!! Different types of drumming style is all, Peter was so great with his jungle ryhthems and jazz filled riffs and big band swing background!!! Peter turned that into rock n roll style of drumming in the early to mid 70's!!! Carr was great god rest his soul, but a Peter Criss he would never be, period!!!@ 🐱🐱🐱

      I think Eric was certainly a more skilled drummer but Peters style was more unique. That being said Carr had a great style as well. I Love It Loud still gets me off my feet without fail.

      Eric Carr was a great heavy hitting hard rock drummer and has great technique. That said, I think some of the 80’s KISS shows seemed a bit too fast in tempo with the classic tunes. Honestly, to me KISS was really defined by its trashy glam rock n roll sound. For that, Peter Criss’ drums worked perfectly as he came from that NYC R&B/rock n roll sound that his buddy Jerry Nolan was born out of too.

      @@kevinchadler469 I saw Pete solo a few times in the mid 70s. The Cat could play.
