As far I can see you follow Miquel Porta's definition of CC studies, which I despise! There is no such thing as "control definition". it's more appropriate to describe a cohort were both cases and controls come from. OR's are no so far away from HR. If the time to exposure is identical between cases and controls, they cancel out! Additionally, we don't distinguish between "retro-" and "prospective", since nested-CC studies are prospective, but they are still CC studies!
