This is a great little video! I saw that episode and it is probably my favorite of all of the episodes of that show. The best part is hearing that they later became very friendly. Thanks so much for posting this here.
I'm surprised Drury doesn't mention that Mariette Hartley played Crawford's older sister in "Felicity's Spring", and that he and Hartley played a newly wed couple in the classic "Ride The High Country". In that movie, Drury plays the groom from hell whom Hartley regrets marrying on their wedding night. I wish Drury had told stories about working with two great classic western stars like Randolph Scott (whatever happened to him) and Joel McRea, not to mention one of the best movies ever directed by Sam Peckinpaugh.
Katherine makes a comment in another video that she was aware of James' dislike so its not surprising that she stayed away from him herself. Nobody would voluntarily be around someone who they knew disliked them. Sometimes unfortunately, the reasons for such reactions are indefinable; it just happens.
No I don't think we would have heard his name from the wedding ceremony. The Minister would have said "Do you the man from Virginia take this women from parts unknown to be your wife"? LoL
love the talk between james and Robert!;) so sweet of yall to post this for others to watch!;)

Didn't care for that episode.
Had they actually wed, we would have finally learned the Viginian's name.

Good One! I forgot all about that movie. The disgusting part was that his brothers and father expected to have a part in the wedding night.

I hated that match!! I could not picture the Virginian with Felicity, never, ever!!! They were so NOT made for each other!
Agree
Well guess that's what makes you a great actor
I couldn't stand her.
