    My daughter made her 1st batch of red wine a month ago. I get to try it out next week. I make beer, 9+ years so far.

      Hey Linda. Really keen to hear how you go. We have only done a few so far but really impressed with the results. I have not tried the middle range yet only the top ones and the cheapest ones so far.

      @@KegLand You made a wonderful educational video. I am glad people can enjoy such a great hobby. Wine or beer at half the cost. Win/Win idea.

    Thanks for the vid and tips Kee. A question, I don’t want to use corks and much prefer screw tops. Do you offer the screw caps or are they even available to fit Kegland wine bottles?

    • @KegLand
      @KegLand  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am sorry but we do not have a screw cap option at this stage. The machine to fit the screw caps is quite a bit more expensive.

    I am brewing the Grenache Rose kit at the moment and will transfer to a keg and carbonate / dispense in the kegerator i.e. a sparkling rose. I assume this means I can skip the degassing step in the process? Also, could I use the spunding valve and ferment under pressure instead of using the airlock method? Can’t wait for the results.

      Yes. I am hardly a wine expert but i would agree. If you are going to carbonate the wine then you should be able to use the spunding vave and also no need to degass. We have been getting some feedback from quite a few of our customers and we are hearing all good things about the wine kits so far so we are going to make the VineCo kits a permanent part of our range.

    Any chance of sparkling wine bottles?

      We do sell the Champagne Bell Capper already I guess so maybe we should stock the bottles too. How would you go about carbonating? Would you use the traditional method or carbonate in a keg and transfer to Champagne bottle?

      @@KegLand Both are possible I guess, can go the petnat route or fill straight from the keg. I must say I would enjoy putting special beers into them also.

    Don’t toss the skins. Add a little more sugar and water, ferment and distill into grappa

    Are you able to carbonate the red

    • @KegLand
      @KegLand  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah absolutely if that is what you want this is the same process to carbonate that too.

    I love beer so I make beer at home. I also love wine a lot so I don’t make wine at home.
