I suppose it was the idea. Unfortunately the filmmakers did not validate it. To my taste, it sounds much better than what's in the actual film (though I like it too, but this one here, I like it more).
@@GillesNuytens Most of Salisbury/Barrow's album sounds like generic synthwave. The movie was cheap enough as is, and felt more modern than retro, so it makes perfect sense the producers moved to experimental industrial score... which also made it more unique and interesting.
