I use carbon paper and trace all of my lettering. I don’t have one of the fancy machines. I love the look of hand lettering over the machine. Love all the diys today.

Yes. She doesn't use all the expensive equipment, like a cricut, or a heat gun, or stuff that you just aren't going to use that much, anyway. The one girl I watch, she has all of these expensive tools, and even a little hand held vacuum thingy, and you can barely do the crafts she makes, because of all of that. I don't watech much of her channel. What I love about this channel, is that she is actually "humble." She isn't trying to show all of the bells and whistles, she is down to earth, she is showing us absolutely gorgeous crafts, that are virtually free, and will actually last a long time, because she puts them together properly. She even does research to find out the "whats," "whys," and "how's," of a project.

I'm going to have to use that technique in a project some day. My favorite is the flower box. There used to be Humble gas stations. I think they were in Houston. In the 60# EXXON merged all their brands, Esso was the one in Maryland, but there were several different ones. I think Humble was part of that conglomerate.

Loved the finish on the beads on project #1. The cross not so much. The Humble oil sign looked just like an old rusted enamel sign and the lavender flower box was really neat so I think it's a tie as to my favorite between #2 & #3

There used to be Humble gas stations. I think they were in Houston. In the 60# EXXON merged all their brands, Esso was the one in Maryland, but there were several different ones. I think Humble was part of that conglomerate.

LOVED all 3 of these! I like having some kind of cross in each room of the house and will definitely be making some of them for myself and family. The box you painted looks amazing! Holly, they are all beautiful! I think the cross turned out really nice. The Humble sign is so you and you did a great job with all the techniques. But I like the flower pot the best! I always make it my own to match my decor too!

Loved the finish on the beads on project #1. The cross not so much. The Humble oil sign looked just like an old rusted enamel sign and the lavender flower box was really neat so I think it's a tie as to my favorite between #2 & #3
Lol! I didn’t like the cross either, but the original looks like cheap craft sticks, so I had no choice. I would have made a much more expensive looking cross! Thanks for the compliments and for watching my friend. 🥰❤️
