I love to scare babus yeah, I understood the attack. I ate it's food. but, then it didn't look like it was about the food anymore. it just wanted me dead but, like rocky said, "Maybe I can't win. Maybe the only thing I can do is just take everything he's got. But to beat me he's gonna have to kill me, and to kill me he's gotta have the guts to stand in front of me, and to do that he's gotta be willin' to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that." ... well, it wasn't ready to die itself
Also, and i get in the moment some thoughts just dont come quickly enough, but at the end with that canni, he totally abandoned that food to chase you. There was a point you couldve turned around and gone back for that food, or better escape, without him even knowing.
I didn't want to go back to be honest. I also think I escaped without him even knowing. 'cause I don't think this mate knew about the lake and you can't smell it from where he turned. otherwise he would have kept going, pretty sure about it. seemed to be very determined to kill me

My favorite Isle player playing my favorite "dino". Your travel path to the South River is awesome, thank you for showing us that. I gotta take one of my Deinos there. I always appreciate that you don't kill freshly spawned players, especially when there is zero benefit to you. Even a full grown Omni is barely worth eating after a certain Deino size. Glad you got through your video alive. Every player that's had a Deino at 100% growth knows exactly how they will die, either to multiple Deinos or one after you're recovering from an injury. Would love to see a part 2 of this one's life.

I’m still working with OBS but it’s giving me many headaches from time to time, stuttering or blurry/I spend hours checking tutorials but I’m a bit lost at the moment. OBS is great and has many more options to record, but, it can't handle 4k. it needs way too many resources to record in 4k. sadly. so, I switched to nvidia. which doesn't need much resources at all. but, like a I said, it lacks on options compared to OBS. the quality is still quite good tho thx, wish you a great sunday as well ♥

If its the same spot, and the glitch hasnt been fixed, that cliff waterfall in the beginning, my guess around 2 mins in...you can swim up and down the waterfall...sort of...more like along side it...without being seen. You have to keeo going till you go through the world and then just swim up or down.

Hopefully this means less full grown deinos around! Def seems like its a little more challenging to grow, since you need perfect diet to get a good boost and thats very hard to maintain as deino.

thx mate ♥ yes I am. but, sniffing makes quite some noise and so I almost never do it in areas I like to ambush. you can hear it from pretty far. in general deinos make too much noise in my opinion. even that rumbling which it does by it's own every now and then is audible outside the water
the deino experience seems kinda off recently, i played it about a year ago and i tried again last week but man now the map is so different and too many safe drinking spots i grew to full size and i only had 2 dino meals the rest was just fish.. a year ago it was much more fun and more hotspots for hunting
yeah, gateway is a terrible map for deinos so far. I really don't understand why there are so many safe drink spots. but, I guess semi aquatics will help. barry, sucho and much later spino will hopefully spice their lives again

yeah, they changed the size (and so the speed) of juvie deinos with the last update. now you have to have a certain growth to cross there, as you can see in this video th-cam.com/video/mAiIuIXyp4o/w-d-xo.html
you aren't the only one who tells me this recently. this video is some months old and they changed the stam in the meantime. so, it might be down to that. on the other hand, I saw deinos south recently. so, there must still be a way. I will try next time I play deino and if I make it, then I will show how
@@joshuadaniels3959 I always had intel CPUs for the last 20 years. the actual ryzen 9 is my first AMD CPU since the 90th but, I'm very happy with the 5900X. it's still a great CPU for me editing and during the game it's just at about 25-30% at max.

? on which way? the way through the ocean? that was by far the most easy one. so, if you try again, I would stick with that one. try to leave the water at exactly that spot (coordinates at 3:25 ) and look at my stamina while I went through the ocean. I never let it down too far, but still did sprint in between. never use stam down to 20% or so. you should get there pretty easily
@@Hypnoz____1 stam? I mostly sprinted in the water till about 60-70% stam and swam slowly to recover it and then sprint again and so on. don't sprint on land while you walk out of the water at swamp.the last part on land you can sprint the stam more down of course.
Was deino nerfed sense this video i had to grow for hours with the perfect diet btw to get to the size necessary to get here took me like 2 hour maybe more to get to 30 percent and by then i was barely 1 ton
even several times. the grow time for every dino became longer since and yeah, they last update also changed the weight (how fast you gain it) again. I don't mind the grow time, but, I did prefer the other weight "system" anyway, they change these stats all the time, so, it will change again
@@raccon1007 they change it for every dino all the time. but, not at the same time. carno gains weight pretty quickly right now. at least it did in the horde test
I would recommend to get the salt water mutation. you can go easily to the south and even further to the beach sanctuary. as you can see here th-cam.com/video/y0VybKM6sbc/w-d-xo.html to be fair, I didn't know how to get the mutation at first in this video. so, it might be confusing. after all you just have to fill your belly twice with salt water. or three times, depending on how much water you had at the start but, get yourself to a spot where you also have access to fresh water. like in the video

I do not understand why so many Deino Players are so relentless when it comes to kill another of their own. You did the right thing in this situation to lead him to his own demise. Thank god that he was smart enough to turn back.
honestly, I would have preferred if it had followed me to the far west. knowing it has no chance to survive. killed by it's own blood lust would have been a nice ending in my opinion. but, this way we found out that we can get back from the south river. even as adult. something I love, 'cause south was always a one way ticket in my mind. now it's a place to visit in between. so, yeah, probably the better ending anyway
That was an awesome video! We tend to get mad at the other player because we humanize them and the situation, but when we watch a video like this in third person, it's beautiful. It really looks like a territorial dispute. That river wasn't big enough for both of you. You can always grow stronger elsewhere and come back to reclaim it later.

Died at 351, -104. I saw a couple other Dino corpse floating in the ocean at that area before I died. I followed this vid exactly, started out my trip as a Juvenile with 3 full hexes. They must have changed how fast Deion’s dehydration occurs.
the problem is, deinos start smaller meanwhile. so, they swim slower. I experienced it in this video th-cam.com/video/mAiIuIXyp4o/w-d-xo.html so, you have to have a certain size to swim this way. but, with the new salt water mutation you can easily get there now.
the fact that the deino followed you just for fun and just to kill you for at least like 500 meters away from water is insane moral of the story: cannibals suck
I would have respected it, if he would have followed me to death. but, as soon as he noticed that he will die as well if he keeps following, all his courage was gone
doesn't mean you have to be bad. this video is some month old. they may have changed the stam or water drain. I will try it myself next time I am in this area as deino. as you saw tho, my water was also red while I was still in the ocean. normally your weight gives you many time before you starve (of water). they also made fresh spawn deinos more tiny. maybe that also changed the amount of actual time till you die as soon as you get red on water. dunno I tried three different ways to south so far, but this was the by most easy one.

I have the RTX 3080, an AMD ryzen 9 5900X and 32 GB RAM. if money isn't that big of an issue, then I would even recommend the 4080 tho.

honestly, I would have preferred if it had followed me to the far west. knowing it has no chance to survive. killed by it's own blood lust would have been a nice ending in my opinion. but, this way we found out that we can get back from the south river. even as adult. something I love, 'cause south was always a one way ticket in my mind. now it's a place to visit in between. so, yeah, probably the better ending anyway
Crocodiles are brutal a holes in real life so us Deinosuchus players fit the bill of our chosen mains 🐊
That was an awesome video! We tend to get mad at the other player because we humanize them and the situation, but when we watch a video like this in third person, it's beautiful. It really looks like a territorial dispute. That river wasn't big enough for both of you. You can always grow stronger elsewhere and come back to reclaim it later.

Died at 351, -104. I saw a couple other Dino corpse floating in the ocean at that area before I died. I followed this vid exactly, started out my trip as a Juvenile with 3 full hexes.
They must have changed how fast Deion’s dehydration occurs.
the problem is, deinos start smaller meanwhile. so, they swim slower. I experienced it in this video th-cam.com/video/mAiIuIXyp4o/w-d-xo.html
so, you have to have a certain size to swim this way. but, with the new salt water mutation you can easily get there now.
the fact that the deino followed you just for fun and just to kill you for at least like 500 meters away from water is insane moral of the story: cannibals suck
I would have respected it, if he would have followed me to death. but, as soon as he noticed that he will die as well if he keeps following, all his courage was gone

bro i think im just bad at deino my water was gone half way the ocean
doesn't mean you have to be bad. this video is some month old. they may have changed the stam or water drain. I will try it myself next time I am in this area as deino. as you saw tho, my water was also red while I was still in the ocean. normally your weight gives you many time before you starve (of water). they also made fresh spawn deinos more tiny. maybe that also changed the amount of actual time till you die as soon as you get red on water. dunno
I tried three different ways to south so far, but this was the by most easy one.
