So much respect and admiration for you two. "No breathless, overlanding, van-life hype"; just beautiful content and honest commentary. Thank you so much for sharing.
Incredible isn't it. It would've been nice to have some more beach days though we probably wouldn't of headed back into the mountains, so that's the silver lining! The rain definitely bought out the colours in the mountains.
Indeed, it wasn't the perfect Greek beaches we thought we'd be travelling between on our journey through Greece though we're really glad the weather forced our hand and rerouted us. This area was picturesque though the landscape in the next episode is HUGE! Cheers
Cheers Brenton, we were equally surprised! Not sure we've been to another EU country where the coastal architecture is so widely different to the mountains. Happy we took this route!
I liked your references at the end comparing bridges of different cultures… peoples, cultures and their resources available… how they use them, etc… interesting
Wow love thoses old bridge’s . Have all ways loved exploring old architecture sites . While over landing or mt bike touring . ( know what you mean about how sad it is when people Rouen spots by there trashy camp spots what a pity) . Thanks for showing another beautiful country in your travels . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :):)🍻👍🏼
Cheers Steve, the architecture in this part of Greece is definitely not the typical Greek postcard coastal whites and pastels! Definitely amazing and unique though.
Shame you had so little time to explore more of Greece.. don't know which way you headed after Vikos to get to Albania but the northwest, Prespes Lakes area, Kastoria, Florina etc.. is stunning.. wish you happy travels..! g
Thanks George! The weather was against us so we nipped across at Kakavia. We had looked to get to Orchid Lake though again the mountain tracks we had pinned to get there were near impassable so we kept heading North West. Next time!
Cheers! It’s a life saver that’s what it is!! After spending a wet season in SEA we’d definitely have some form or airborne disease if we didn’t have it. They’re made by Top Gear 2 Go in Aus.

Amazingly beautiful greens and florals. And then the blue sea... What nice scenery despite the occasional downpour.

You should have many more subs than you do...
Cheers Mark, feel free to spread the word for us! 🙂
I'll second that, great content and presentation. That Jolie is getting more cheeky and funny of late.
You are sitting a side of Greece I've never seen before. Not what I expected at all. Awesome footage. And nice to see a bit of in- troopy life.

Those bridges are sick!
Definitely, I wonder how many more centuries they'll be standing for...

Interesting comparison - wood and stone bridges. Apparently, where bamboo grows, not a lot of stone tools and arrowheads are found.
Interesting, thanks Peter.
Super video :) what's the mosquito net on the troopy ?
