    Brother thank you so much we have a “shop” that was built and permitted in 1963 and has been converted into a living / studio area for over 30 years but was never permitted as such. Now some angry neighbors have reported us to the city because they failed to extort my grandfathers life insurance money from us to pay for their new brick wall.
    These videos and information are helping tremendously and I thank you for all of your hard work. Truly.

    Does that mean that it will pass inspection as is ? As long as it passes health standards? My footings are 10” instead of 12” will that kind of thing pass?

      Each city has to define its standards and get its own building department to be up to date with the standards. So your local agencies should hopefully publish something in the first half of the year that answers the question specifically.
