Hey man... Some of us don't have a PC to play that 12 y/o game it's great their letting us play this perfectly balanced game with absolutely no exploits.
Within two turns Lewis gives questionable advice, Lydia runs off to the corner of the map, and Sharky and Palp are already tag teaming a dungeon. Who could have seen this coming? Love it.
For some reason, the idea of Lifts-Her-Tail secretly being a member of The Blades is hilarious to me.
Because Blades is code for p3n1ses!
And a communist revolutionary
that explains why she is so good with coded speech.

Lewis went with her so it's impossible to know, but I think she could have handled it alone.
The fact that they had a harder time dealing with a poison trap than the final boss amuses me greatly

I know it's an ad but I really really enjoyed this.
Ben's character rolling nat 1's all game is a mood. Meanwhile in the classic Sharky and Palp manner Tom has thrown him onto his shoulder and carried him throughout the entire process.
Not even three minutes in yet and we've had arrows to the knee, khajiit has wares and a certain argonian maid. The yogs know their lore XD
They literally don't know who "The Blades" are.
They only seem to know a handful of internet jokes about Skyrim.
@@Prophes0r To be fair, how many hours of the game did you play before you found out about the blades through the main storyline?
@@andrewmiller8653 Tom, Ben, and Lewis have all talked about playing Oblivion. And The Blades are part of almost all relevant plot points in that game. Like, from the opening scenes and tutorial.
Poor Ben. Everyone else completes their Quest immediately then Lewis learns that's not how it's done and Ben can't do it. 😢😢
tom is my favorite youtuber. love to see him in his natural element of RPG games and stirring the pot

Just one rules clarification: When you kill a monster, you only get 1 of the options of rewards at the bottom (chosen by the player who kills it) the others go to anyone else accompanying you. Any left over rewards are lost.

The best part of Tom's personal side quest is that getting 1000 XP in one go would only give him 1 level. Cause everything past the threshold on lvl up hand in is wasted.

The fact that BenTom camera is mirrored is super confusing when you see Ben talk on the right and then he does things on board and he is on the left.
That aside, this looks like a boardgame I will buy next christmas for me and my SO. We love coop games like these.

This was fantastic! The feel of a classic TTRPG, but with the familiar Skyrim setting. I'd love to get a few friends going to play this! Please play more of this with a whole bunch of different yogs

after reading some of the rulebook, it seems enemy attacks are resolved before player attack, so any time they went for a "kill enemy before it strikes them" manouver, they missplayed ( only mattered with draining vampires). Oh well, "new game who dis?" unless their characters maybe have some special rules that break the sequence of play that i have yet to find.

The board game is infinitely deeper than the actual game.
I liked skyrim when I was younger, back when it first came out. After my first time i actually completed it though I realized how bland it is, at least from my perspective. Tried Oblivion and found it to be infinitely more interesting, and then I found two other rpgs (dragons dogma and kingdoms of amalur) and never touched an elder scrolls game again.
@@craftsmenMC Yeah, perspective. I checked out your two recommendations and I just don't like the whole big sword aspect to RPGs or the whole tiny man with sword defeats FOUR huge snakes, like what?

One minor thing, the camera being flipped for Tom and Ben is off putting and confuses the placement of the players at the table.

This is so weird. I was recently thinking of Skyrim, and to play it again. It was late so I was just scrolling on Amazon for Skyrim just to see what was out there for merch or whatever, just a mindless search to keep busy.
I came across the Skyrim board game. I thought I've seen this before years ago on Yogscast im sure, maybe on Lets Play, idk.
So I searched Skyrim Boardgame into youtube, knowing one of them would pop up.
I scroll and see a thumbnail that kinda looks like Lewis. Games Night, oh yeah thats Yogcast, that is Lewis.
However this is from 3 months ago. I swear I saw Lewis, Simon, Hannah, and maybe Sjin play this. Did they remove it because of Sjin or am I just remembering it wrong. But I thought of this before I found this video, I thought YogsCast played this. Years ago. I havent watched Yogs in maybe a year now, and this channel even longer. (Having kids will do that to you. ...have you heard of Songsforlittles and Ms Rachel....)
Just weird. Either way, I miss my old Ye Olde Goone Squad and the toaster mics.
