This fixed my 2021 wrangler issue. I had Start/ Stop Unavailable msg and the locks no longer worked on the drivers side. This was the only video I found that SHOWED the pins were slightly bent. When I read all the blogs, I assumed they'd be completely bent (there were no pictures), but I was wrong. I bent them slightly, after seeing yours, and all is fixed! Thanks for showing the male end and how "bent" the prongs were for reference, huge help!
Just wanted to say thank you. I tried bending back the pins and nothing was resolved. I had convinced myself it was a problem with maybe a broken wire in the harness that goes all to the door. Took the entire door apart, found nothing. Went back and watched your video and then took a picture of the pins so I could blow it up on my phone. Sure enough they were bent forward just like you described, I just couldn't see it with my naked eye. After a few tries I got them bent back far enough and success!
Thanks for the video. I had the same exact issue and bent the pins back. After a few tries, all functions began working. I bent them the same way you did. Didn’t disconnect the battery and everything went well. Thanks for the posting man. Gave me the courage to try it myself.
Only solution for this type of connector is making those fucking thin ass pins cylinderical and lil thick. The rectangle thin ass wire pins for removable door is dumbest connecter to be designed. FYI i had bent pins ;thanks to your video for reference ,funny thing i never removed door ,one by one between few months gap driver side every switch stopped working.
So you slide the red safety clip up. This unlocks the connection. Then you slide the white clip back and upward. It I had my jeep still I would post a video. I’ve been waiting on my new jeep for 3 months. Lol. Good luck.
@@TheBmcfunk no, I meant how did you remove the male part from that mounted clip on the side. I know how to disconnect the female from the male. I just need to be able to see the pins in the male part, but I can’t because it’s mounted/clipped to the side

That’s great! Glad to help.

Nice!
Just would like to thank you..
Had the same issue but in the passenger side

That’s great it worked for you too.
I hope some after-market brands make some better connectors to solve the problem.

The issue with these connectors is that the plastic sleeve on the male side pops out and does not protect the pins during reassembly.
I cannot get the male portion off to get a better look at the wires. Very annoying. If anybody has an idea on how to do it please let me know
Flat head at the base of where it inserts into the metal base. Prys off like a plastic fender pin.
I am unable to remove the female clip from where it is mounted. You state in your video to slide up, but I am not understanding.
Same as you bro
By any chance is there a limiting device between the mount and the connector?
Could you post a video of how you undid the clip please?
Sorry man. I ordered a new one and it won’t be here for a couple months.
I’m having the same problem I can’t get the clip off lol
You didn't even show how you fixed it!
How did you remove the “male” part from the clip?

@@kroe1981 did you ever figure out how to remove "unclip" the male end from the car to get a better look at the pins? Same issue here.
This wire connector is a horrible idea. Shame on you Jeep
