This was a great review, I’ve been into zep bootlegs for a long time and I’m about to go check out the ottawa one, I’ve never heard that one and your talk of jimmy page just blazing away got me enticed! And I just have to say you missed Boston 1970 which is a great show with a few sources, none of them sound incredible but none of them are bad either, definitely worth a listen! Thanks for the video
Great review so informative you really broke down the whole year, and the description of the shows was incredible. I like that you talk about links and some actual vinyls that might still be accessible/ available. Any more information on available vinyls would be awesome especially for your overseas buyers/viewers
`71 was the year they were running on all cylinders. That was their peak as live shows goes. Not that the later years were not as good, they had some ups and downs, mainly `75 but even then they had some phenomenal shows that year. `77 was a good year too but, `71 they were full on killin` it.
So glad to find you. Finally someone who's as into bootlegs as I am!
@@jasonpizzo2897 Awesome, thanks!

There’s a certain irony to the fact that Jimmy Page probably has one of the largest Zeppelin bootleg collections around. Keep them coming!
Looking forward to you progressing through the 70s.
"The year was 1978. It was the last days of disco. The Cold War was just heating up."
1978 was a year LZ did not perform on stage. As was 74 and 76.
@@mnick0962 Bummer! Was hoping you'd recognize that line from "Creep".
Great video! Thanks for sharing
Best sound LZ boot from 1970 was Blueberry Hill from LA Forum Sep 4 1970
That’s a fair assessment.

It wasThe Flock who were kicked offstage not The String Band...great reviewsthough!
@@maverickminstrel1557 In a previous cut of this video I did say the Flock, but I said ISB. I should have looked it up! Thanks!
@mnick0962 no worries it's a great channel sir.
70 was a great year. I've got all their boots. Every year til 1980.
Man I had few of those boots on LP back in the day and the sound was awful but I loved them anyway.
