I loved him before as an athlete but this incredible interview uncovered a lovable and hilarious side of this guy that puts his athletic achievements to the side to reveal a humanitarian and extraordinary person that is beyond inspirational. It was an enormous gift to me as well going through an extremely difficult experience with the same body that screwed up his life, even if only for a short time. Watching him come out the other side of it and growing from it is an incredible story of resilience and strength. It would have been understandable if he held resentment and anger but instead he’s sharing his learnings and passing on the wisdom. Guys, you absolutely nailed this interview!
