This is a really good video. I think many brands have entered the Padel market in a rush a have put out rackets without much research and development. Finding the best racket for you as a player is so important in Padel. The balance, weight, foam, carbon etc make a huge different. I've recently bought a custom racket from Tasty Padel, best I've owned so far.
Man I appreciate this video. It's very rare that a youtuber won't just call every new racket a palón, harder/better/fast than last year. That said it seems like your issues come down to the face being smaller than normal - hence the gap, the sound, the balance, the swing-weight. It's very clearly a deliberate design decision, though certainly not for everyone. I haven't tried these but as a bigger/stronger player I'm actually curious now!
Thanks a lot for your comment! Definitely, please let me know your thoughts if you ever try it! As an engineer, I would love if I could actually test the rackets in a lab to analyse the effect of moving the racket head away from the grip. It does not seem right to me
@@padeldriver Hey I'm an engineer too! MSc in Mathematics of Mechanical Eng so I feel qualified to comment further. It will just move the sweet spot higher and make it smaller. If I remember correctly that style was relatively popular around 2010, with the original Starvie Raptor or the Jhayber Dominator being prime examples. Very difficult to manoeuvre, extremely powerful in chancletazos/power/jump smashes if you can actually swing them quick. They are extremely technical shapes despite being round because the sweet spot really is the size of a coin. Bit outdated so to say, they won't be easy to move quick enough for modern topspin needs. But for a flat sort of game they can be brutally effective.
The starvie raptor is actually well balanced, I don’t think there is a big gap in that one. It is quite technical but it is a good racket. I have tried it several times on different years
I bought bullpadel vertex 04 hybrid 2024 after he gave it a good review. but it felt the same way as this review. top heavy, not maneuverable and the feel is off. never again
@@barbrasosi quality control is a topic for across the board of all manufacturers. The Bullpadel ones have the removable bottom cap and you can use custom weights to adjust the balance, but that's at extra cost of buying the bits. I used bluetac and it works the same, so maybe worth a go to improve how the racket feels in your hand..?
i was even closer and i bought the WM 365 after the Otro Nivel 'review'. Only 60€ at the time, i had to buy a new racket fast because my old one broke. At first, i was quite pleased with the racket. I competed in 4 tournaments and 2x semi's and 2x final (1 win). But i recognise the concerns now: sweet spot and sound is weird, durability aint good as well.
I'm interested to hear your opinion as I've considered the brand previously based on their reputation in tennis but always found them to be seriously overpriced compared to the leading brands and also interestingly no top professionals use the brand
@@gardmidttveit7630 depends non what you played before, if you played round rackets at10 will be feeling familiar, if you played with teardrop you might feel the sweet spot too low, in that case you have the at10 attack version which has higher balance / placed sweet spot, but still is light enough to be agile at the net and in the back. Both have a tendency to crack at 10 and 1 so always play with a good protector. The buttcap is specific as well, but I remedy that moving the rubber ring from the top of the grip to the bottom before putting an overgrip, so it gains the shape of a "regular" buttcap.
First racket I bought was the wall master 360, after a couple of months replaced it with the adidas metalbone carbon. Technifibre didn’t have much power and I found it quite hard feeling.
@@simonenuma2139 haven’t tried that model in particular so cannot comment much. I like the quality of Starvie and that eva is quite versatile combined with the standard 3K carbon the brand uses, good for different conditions and levels. However, I do not know how that foam combines with Basalto
The one thing you didn't mention (and fair enough cause you didnt play that much with these) is the DURABILITY. Especially wallmaster, they seem to be more fragile than average and break reeeeeally easily. If you are new to padel and a TF fanboy you can look at the 355g versions, but there are much better rackets out there in that pricepoint...

I was so close to buying the Wall Master 365 after Otro Nivel gave it a 9.5/10. Managed to get a Siux Electra ST3 for the same price, so happy with it
Mmm I wonder why he recommends it…You didn’t break your wallet then 🤪

@@h1tten1t thanks a lot for sharing your experience and thoughts on this 🙌💙
Thanks for the video!! It is also helpful to know what not to buy 😅
Thanks for the comment my man 💙 Glad you found it helpful!
i like this topic, do more 👍🏻
Thanks a lot for the feedback! Noted down 💙
You are right about the starvie 3d spin, it is the only one that really work!!
Starvie 3D surface is quite unique yeah
used the WM 375 in the past, the only problem I had with it was that it had way too much ball output and I couldn't control viboras.
Thanks for sharing your experience with it 🫶💙

Thanks! Yeah, I have heard their tennis rackets are pretty good
Thanks for the video! I am not thinking of changing my Hook at the time!
Thoughts on Siux Spyder CTRL lite 3? Respect from South Africa 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I am afraid I haven’t tried that one yet 🥹
Thanks for the vidéo what do you think about the nox at genius pro cup 2024 ?

Love the video, thanks man. I’m having some wrist pain, was thinking to get a Head Gravity Motion due to its light weight and balance. Any thoughts?
gravity motion nunca experimentei, mas a gravity pro é incrível
I havent tried that one, I tried the gravity pro and I liked it
What do you think about the adidas metalbone 3.3 ctrl?
How about a bullpadel hack 03 2024 as a first pro racket??
Depends on your level and your game style. It is quite top heavy, you need to take that into account
Thoughts on the nox at10 18k?
Very manoeuvrable and big sweetspot. I actually haven’t played with it in a very long time but probably worth checking the prices from previous years

have I seen you at the padel hub in slough?
Haven’t been there yet!! But want to visit soon 🙌
Thanks for the video👌And I see you answer every question. What are you thoughts about the Starvie Basalto 2024(eva 30)?

@padeldriver thank you very much for the honest answer.
What do you think of the siux fenix pro 4?
Havent tried it yet 🙈
Your opinion on the Tecnifibre 355 g? 😮
Probably very similar to this one, haven’t tried it 🙈
Can you review Pallap brand rackets

Really good point! I actually forgot to ask on durability, not sure how they perform here. Thanks a lot for the feedback 💙
they also don't have great durability compared to others
Wow...tell me how you really feel 😅
🙈
No wonder it feels too heavy for you with those thin chicken arms you got XD
Padel kept me away from the gym 😢
Chickens don't have arms, are you thin brained? 🤔
😂😂😂 that was a very good one
