  • I have tried five different types of rough in Padel rackets: which one is the best? Does the rough really work in a Padel racquet? It is one of the big doubts, does the rough work in Padel racquets? Let's find out today with StarVie!

So cool that Starvie welcomed you to their factory, I really enjoyed all the videos you made with them. I've owned Nox and Babolat rackets before, but after a rackettest I bought my first Starvie (Metheora 2024) 2 months ago. I'm really surprised by the very high build quality, it really is a step up from any racket i've seen or played with. Love the racket. Really curious how it holds up over time. My Nox AT10 was cracked (with normal use) very soon (< 6 months) and my Babolat Counter Viper 2022 is still in very good condition.

Have been happy with the “feeling” I got in the Starvie rackets I had, but they didn’t last more than 3-6 month before the paint came off or cracked. Also the balance and Weight were different (+/- 15 grams) even though I bought the same racquet 3 times. (Astrum) Then I bought a Wallich Racket…. They produce it to My specifications, Wheight, Balance, Hardness, Length of Shaft etc. WAUW Wallichpadel :) More expensive yes, but still playing with the same racquet after 1,5 year and more than 1.000 hours. Hardly Notisable on the racquet, because there is NO paint that can be damaged and the Frame is SO strong. Now I can ACTUALLY play with the same racket for a long time and get used to it.
(and Durability = Sustainability… win, win, win)

But Pablo you did not mention what foam density the kenta have. Starvie has 3 as you know.

The only roughness I feel is from the sandpaper surface.
