Bearing of the Gyrhead Shift Improvement Kit from eBay link can’t be found. Is this company still making these? And with the BAD side shift would this still work with the eBay/Amazon/AliExpress shifter? Cheers
@@onelife1love try contacting them directly as I see they are still a EBay seller www.ebay.com.au/usr/gyrhead and yes it works with a cheap shifter. I do suggest saving up and getting the Numeric shifter. It is 100% a different experience and worth it. Even if you hunt down a used one. In my other video there is a discount code for Numeric. Not sure if it still works but worth checking
The internals that you do see or the shift knob? I have since replaced it all with a Numeric shifter and it is next level in feel and precision. There is a video on our channel of the install with a comparison between this and 3 other shifter options for the 986/996

@@TheEddysGarage the side lever part just looked kinda jank and crooked… but it sounds like you got the ultimate upgrade anyway.
@@davidshaw164 the stock plastic lever is also on an angle. Installing the BAD leaver did make a big difference in shifter precision.
What size are those roller bearings?
