Just a thought. When plasma was fighting you could have just shot him with the ball gun and you could have saved him.
I do believe you can't use a soul ball on a creature when it's in combat. Has to be peaceful and unagro from other stuff

When you have the weight bug with the fjordhawk you need to reload your inventory by taking an item into your inventory, and then the game will notice you only have x-amount of weight on you, and you can move.
yeah, I was yelling at him to just loot 1 piece of meat from that bag near his bed. If you pick up 1 item, it will recalculate your weight and no longer incumber you.
Ya in the future he can just pick the bed up. He has s+ so he can

I have a tip im not sure if you already knew this but on the volcanic island you can actually mine some of the pillars in the sulfur area and it will give you gas balls (the unrefined version). :)
The condensed gas bas I think is their name.

Hey syntac whenever you start stealing wyvern eggs . My new favorite method is flying in the trenches preferably without getting the attention from the wyverns, find the egg you want put the flyer into a cryo pod, make sure you have your fjord hawk, grab the egg and immediately eat some Polymer, and boom you have an egg without the hassle, repeat as many times as you’d like

If you look up and right from the Aberrant cave (while looking at it), there's an oil platform node on the cliff there and the breakable oil rocks if you follow the cliff wall to the left of the same cave. Stuff far more accessible from that base than the lava island.
I love how lechonk has become your go to tame, I just found out today that the turret saddle is radiation proof… kinda busted lol

Around the Volcano map, somewhere around where the sulfur ponds are, is a hole in the ocean where you can find a space cave with light animals in it. It's peacefull and beautiful and you can float in it :)

First, Thanks for the episodes (I thought we were going to call them farces, though) AT LEAST once a day, sometimes twice.
Second, you need to pause and choke that andy up with meat once in a while. I kept expecting him to die, too in that cave.
I've been subbed for years, and laugh SO HARD at how you rush in without preparing, like farce 1 this series; you didn't stop and make a water skin, then fill it before you left the beach. NO, you made a million boxes and NOT 1 water skin, silly.
About half of the "bad things Ark does to you" could be avoided by boy scouting, "be prepared".
"Pick on somebody at your own elevation" laughed at this for like 2 minutes I have no idea why (it was just very funny) Props @Syntac
SYNTAC, got extremely lucky that the galli spared him and his tame after hitting that 3rd worm horn node. It was just showing you have fast he could have dropped you without you even knowing he was there.... #GALLIGANGGANG

Good news is that the cave you found is really good for taming bats. I found a 150(max level on my sever) there.
Also, put blood bags on tames to reduce the damage they take while taming bats.
Good luck getting a new one. Is an opportunity to get a high eff tame
Poor Syntac's tames... I feel for you, we all do. You should go full mutations on the bats now, breed a pure white one and name it Shikaka so all the other creatures must bow down to it's greatness!

I could not help but cringe the whole time, he went in blind and unprepared and then when he saw what he was up against he decided to go further instead of regrouping. No stam, no health, no scouting before flying in with the only cave flyer he had. I guess they say that fortune favors the bold but I cant help but feel that this moved into foolhardy way too quickly.

To help stop the spawns in side ur base use the S+Feeding Trough and then to make it cover a larger area just edit the settings .

It would be cool if the Fjordhawk would spread its wings while sitting on your shoulders, when you are either using the glider or using a flyer's swoop ability.
Hey Syn! The Andrewsarchus saddle makes you immune to radiation so you can walk it down to the rock drake cave, jump straight into a nest, and hop out and grab one. Since you’re only out for a second you won’t die to radiation.

Just btw thats specifically a bat cave with just a mini artifact (the main bat cave), theres 4 that I know of -
1) The lava bat cave (the one your in in this episode)
2) The one you went to for your bat that died
3) One in the middle of vannaland (not sure of exact chords but its behind a waterfall)
4) To the right of the South Vardiland - West tp (all the way down the stairs at the bottom)

Did you know that if you use the soul gun on one of your tamed dead dinos, they're 1hp in the soul pod and you can just put them down and they're alive.

Ark changed a setting a while ago, if you die and you are out of render wild creatures typically stop attacking. The moment you go into range they will continue attacking. That's what you saw there, when you got too close they swarmed again. You can spyglass and whistle your tame out without getting the aggressive creatures attention again. As they say Ark Happens 😋

yeah i learned to make sure my bed was in the middle of a room away from walls so my fjordhawk wouldn't teleport into a wall or other structure
Dino Storage combined with the Fjordhawk is so incredibly OP
If you put the captains hat on the hawk he would be 'captain birds eye'
The fast travel/still overburdened issue has happened to me before. If you pull for organic poly and respawn at the same bed, it fixes the bug

I would *love* to be able to put hats on the Fjordhawks! I always put that explorer hat skin on my Featherlights and they look amazing. I bet the Fjordhawk looks just as good.
