Nuneaton! So cool to see it in a game.. And yeah in Nuneaton the platform you stopped at would be where the Virgin 390's fly through, and there are cross country trains going from Leicester to Birmingham, and then a Nuneaton to Coventry .. Virgin also have the little pendolinos going from euston to chester as well.. It would be great to set up a workshop scenario with all those different services
When the pantograph button is flashing you must idle the power because it's a neutral section. Great video

Great video , I live in Nuneaton so was really great to use Nuneaton station in train simulator , and I can say it's accurately represented here, but regarding licence , think it's a shame that just trains can get the Virgin licence , for example the just trains voyager 220 , and dovetail can't

I wonder if DTG will do the class 345 with Crossrail, 700 with Thameslink, the class 172 and 323 for London Midland and the TPE 350/4. That would be really good
I'd also like to see my local line, the Chase Line, that runs from Rugeley Trent Valley to Birmingham New Street via Walsall, and other local lines, such as the Cross-City Line from Lichfield to Redditch, the Snow Hill Lines, from Hereford to Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa and the Wolverhampton-Rugby Line. Those would really do it for me, but it would mean having to have 2 and 3 carriage class 170s, and 2 carriage class 170s coulpled to a class 153, and the class 323s and 350s would only be able to go as far as Walsall, as per reality.

Physics are bad. The texturing is not up to standard. The announcements are nothing like the real thing. The camera controls are annoying. So no. The rest of the train is not perfect.

Those point r harsh, I'm going to change it up, I will make the career easier, as it's the multiplier that decreases ur points even further. But that was a very nice route. Good to have ya back for now Qwerty :3

awesome video! just like in real life if you enter the speed limit doing 50 not 20 like u you could get fired or taken off driving for a month because you could say killed the workmen but train sim is harsh with the points

You stopped in the middle because you accelerated through the Neutral Section which are the gold magnets on track indicated by black and white signs. You should coast through them to allow the train to change power grids without causing problems. As for the WCML, I think Preston-Birmingham or Euston-Birmingham will be next.
As for 390s not included on this route, they only stop at this line's stations with peak services. Stafford is regularly served by Virgin, but it's non-stop to London from Liverpool after Stafford and non-stop back until Stafford, Rugby is only served with Birmingham services regularly, and Lichfield, Tamworth and Nuneaton are served with peak services, so scenario potential is limited. That's what I think anyway.
***** Yes, but that is the issue that I intended to raise. While over six Virgin Trains services per hour run along this line, they do not stop at many intermediate stations, and it reduces scenario potential outside of rush hour unless you are willing to use artistic license to add in new services.
With Thomson putting their energy into the 350, I think the 390 wouldn't have been worth the extra hassle, but it could be modified or have a new built one for the next section if it's Euston to Birmingham, or even a Voyager if it's Preston to Birmingham.
Fringe Stalin it want because he went pass the Neutral Section it was because he had a dragging brake fault as the new class 350 has random failures on it just like the AP class 90. In real life a train would not stop because it went pass a Neutral Section with power applied the passengers would just feel a big jolt and all the driver would have to do is put the power controller back to off for a sec then apply power again.

Thanks for sharing this. I only purchased the NYC 7 train after watching your video. The 7 is my daily subway train and I was afraid of being disappointed. You revealed the realistic coolness of this sim. But for a few details (there should be more East Asian passengers, even 30 years ago, and a few stations are not accurate at the ends as well as non working wipers) it is now my favorite. The Redbirds and their gray seats bring back memories. They were in daily use until the early 2000s. Carry on, please.

Great showcase of the class 350. Looking forward to have a go at this route in the coming days. Another train with doors that open on the inside is the German built DB BR420. Pretty nice little train and great job as usual :)

32:52 that platform on the right is the least used station in Warwickshire called Polesworth. One Northbound from Northampton to Crewe at around 0650 on weekdays only is it's only service

sorry you lost points in game qwerty the only way I combat that is too save as I go along otherwise I. will be punished at some point the career point systems is crazy who ever thought it up should have a dam good think it needs overhauled tottaly how many faults does train sim have sigh at least seeing major improvements in dlc mind you that new German route from screenshot looks same old so is it the same old lack of consistency I. every dlc I have bought two latest British dlc route network and they are great your honesty is very refreshing

Platform 1 for the 13:07 London Midland service to Nuneaton calling at Nuneaton only. This train is formed of 8 coaches.
Sat in first class on this route normally doesn't have many carriages when we get on a Stafford, Doesn't it start at Crewe?

Been on that route in a pendolino many times before and it looks just how it does IRL. Just wondering how the uploads are going to be affected while you're in Croatia.

You should do a Birmingham line
Just a piece of advice. Maybe wait a few days after a piece of DLC is released so you can play a decent workshop scenario. Decent scenarios take days to create - not an afternoon.
I WAS going to but this route but, since they stopped AP from providing sounds to the Trains on this route I won't buy it.
Also how well would this game run if I was to fit a £50 gpu such as nvidia gt700 to an old HP Pavilion with 4gb ram and 3.3ghz dual core Intel cpu? If this game turns out to have that much detail, I could be tempted to build a new high performance pc. I've dreamt for years for a game where you could explore parts of the uk in great detail. I mean you could have GTA or racing games, and you could download or buy discs of more cities. Any games publishers reading this : PLEASE DO THIS!

i am going to pick up this map as it is the route i use everyday, i will tell you all of the stations and the whole of the map are modelled very acurattely!
Don't know about you qwerty but i think the old content should be supported can not see why they cant port it all over routes mite look a bit better on the ue4 i don't know why divide the game in two is a good thing.

Hi, I've been looking at a few of these train simulator routes in the UK, and on some it does seem like there are accurate reproductions of stations and landmarks in some of the
bigger cities like Birmingham, and on others you see plenty of industrial buildings and scenery, but are these the actual buildings you'd see in real life, or are they just generic images? That was the main reason I had an interest, as I love exploring, and seeing things from a trains perspective sounds just brilliant. I was originally looking for driving sims, if someone was to make accurate maps of real cities like Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol etc where you could race (or drive normally), going through tunnels etc, I think they'd sell by the bucket load. I remember 'the getaway' on ps2 and it had Oxford road with all the real shops around at the time, and the surrounding roads had real shops etc. but learning to drive s train sounds fantastic too. So what routes can you buy that are actually 'real' lol
+Phill G they are real to a point they try and get as much surrounding detail at a radius around the train stations. there are quite a lot of UK routes available, you best bet it to check the train simulator website or steam to browse whats available
Im so tempted to get this on Steam. Its down to £6 now, is it good fun to play? I love these simulators.
You should try OpenBVE. It is completely free and all the addons are also. It has loads of London Underground trains and lines and pretty much the whole NYC Subway network. It also has lots of UK railwys.

I have to hate the announcements, they sound really ugly. They couldn't at least got a real person to say them, and out in the 'ding doing' at the start as well. But still cool.

Felix Train Exactly, I mean, they could get licensing for Southern Southeastern, Gatwick Ex, but could be botherd to get licensing for LM? They're all Govia companies I honestly don't understand why they could be bothered to get the docs for this and record a couple of announcements?
